@bobanation6917 Calm down. It's okay to critisize religion, just as much as it's okay to be religious. Freedom of religion doesn't just mean that it's okay to practise religion, it also means freedom to not practise religion. It goes both ways, which many people can't seem to understand. Atheists and such are expected by religious people to never dare to ever say a single word against religion and to respect religion and religious people outright, yet literally demonize them for not sharing their beliefs. That's so extremely hypocritical, and that only makes it harder and harder for us non-religious people to respect religion and religious people.
My whole life I've tried my best to in a way distance religion from religious people, because I'm not a fool to think that someone's religion is their entire identity and such, amongst other reasons. However, with the way religious people seem incapable to agree to disagree, and respect other people's beliefs or lack thereof, the harder it becomes to respect religious people as well. You (speaking in general terms) can't expect respect while you also deny and refuse to extend that same expected respect to others who doesn't share your belief. Get it?
