Hi thank you for this great episode I am about to turn forty! On a side note Given recent political events I’m highly interested in the reasons why women are split about the issue of reproductive rights. I saw a study in college where sociologists concluded some women believe they get their power and status through a man and so they are perfectly ok elevating a man to a higher position as long as that man is seen as protecting them.( I am married to a man and am traditional in that relationship as far as I believe he does protect me but I still want my rights and equality under the law) of course genders won’t have strict divide on all things but if the LGBTQ can come together and gain rights why does it seem so much harder for women? I’d like to understand why so many women are staunchly pro life If its life experiences then surely we can have empathy for people on the other side but my fear is it’s mostly religion that divides us on this issue and if that’s true then the conversation won’t be as productive I don’t know where to go with it as it is a highly charged issue but I am fascinated by what divides us and what may bring us together no offense to men but I would want to hear from women only at this time. I feel the answer to this divide will reveal woman have been missing something important here about our role in society for better or for worse
