  1. Re MLK and communism, while MLK himself was obviously not communist in any traditional sense, he WAS supported by communists, they're hope was to connect civil rights with communism for a number of reasons, including making themselves look better.

  3. I don't think this is at all relevant, but it should be remembered that Martin Luther King was responsible for the sexual abuse of several members of his congregation. That has nothing to do with his assassination, but its important to remember context.
