  1. He had a long career doing all sorts of Christian study before he founded a denomination. Of course, the Bible students were not identical to modern Jehovah's Witnesses, a lot of development took place on things like the use of the crucifix. Other elements, like non trnitarianism and annihilationism were there from the get go.
