  1. Surely the role of Church and Mosque in society is to encourage moral behaviour and cultivate peace, if members of the same church have no love for one another, what are they teaching? Western countries did not help, the UN did not help, the churches and mousques did not teach people to put down their sword but rather Hutu Catholic turned on Tutsi Catholic, Hutu Adventist on Tutsi Adventist, what sort of religion is that? There is a first hand account of someone who survived the massacres, a book called "No greater love", if you want to learn more, that might be a place to start.
