  1.  @gentronseven  If people with different theories about what water is are asked to make boats, and one boat does not sink while the other does, it's certain that the boat that doesn't sink is better, but it's reasonable to conclude that the theory behind that boat is correct too. A bad theory produces a bad boat, and vice versa, so if the boat works, the theory is probably correct.
