@kalikale3969 Men do not have one fewer rib. It is no less reasonable to conclude that Adam had an extra rib as to conclude that he did end up with one fewer, but it was not passed on. After all, this not not nessercerily a genetic change.

Is it more reasonable to conclude that: A: A kind of metaphorical man named Jehovah made things from nothing , then a man from dust, then a women from a rib, or B: Nothing made anything from anything, then nothing was made by no-one from anything, then things and dust and men and women all just happened. Taken on their own, neither makes much sense, you need to look beyond the surface to see which makes sense.
