Guess many have it similar. You kind of feel relaxed about the situation, as you know that 'they are there', and you can contact/visit when you feel for it. When you parents grows older, and one day are not there, you might feel different, things have changed. One might start thinking 'I should have maybe seen them more often when alive, not been so 'selfish' staying all by myself for such long periods of time' Not ment as any critisism, just throwing out some ideas.

@kitecattestecke2303 That's a possible outcome, sadly. Some similar guy, +/- cruel, someone that want's to fullfill Dear Leader of Kremls wet dreams. Guess the country's economy won't be stronger in the near future, so might be limited what a follower can acheive.

most people are just staying far away from politics and minding their own business day to day. those who do not cope with this life, have/are, moving away
8
Yeah, I think we will heremuch from this guy in the coming years, maybe as an journalist located in the EU in the future, as one of several options
4
Without nowing any details, it seems South America is among, or the, most peaceful corner of the world these days. The usual political stuff, but at least no tanks rolling in from across the borders
3
@zadaszenie ah, okay. Next to impossible to guess THAT was your point. Well, years of prison if one not pick one's word with care, in Russia. He mentions it in newer videos, but prefer to keep a low profile. It's not worth the risk too him satisfy viewers that needs to hear 'it' said, he has explained
2
what would it help to take away toys from russian children. Sanctons does hurt the people, but leading elite do not care as they are loaded with money
2
The land in and around St Petersburg and Moscow is very expencive as lots'of people want to move to these places. It makes better sense to build high buildings to keep costs lower, and save valuable land
2
St Pete is often foggy and rainy, all year. But yeah, getting colder, and winter just around the corner)
2
He risk up to 15 years in prision saying some wrong words about the situation. It's just not worth it to him, and most youtubers, that plans to stay in their home country also in the future, to satisfy some viewers that want to hear 'it said', and it will do absolutely zero about the current situation. To the one's following him over a period, it's clear that he is anti-government and most they do
2
Kind of hilarious. Lol...sticking to this vintage mindset) Too them likely is not vintage, but modern and up to date. Which makes it even more hilarious.
2
@ausboy2281 The soviet period strongly effected people and their minds. Most of the people 40-50 years + have to be passed away before younger more modern thinking people can take charge. 2-3 decades maybe
2
Great guys on a individual level. But theri culture and mindset is more concervative and old-fashioned than in the west, and this kind of reflects up to the ruling elite and their attitude towards the western society. But generally, seems like the russian population and the leading elite lives in different worlds. The elite sits with most of the guns, so if you wanna live you just stay quiet and out of politics, follow the flow
2
@LordandGodofYouTube ill think they have a wider and different view of the world than those at home. Good to stay away from talking politics
2
Companies and citizens feel the sanctions first of all. The Government have a big 'war chest' from the oil and gas sales. But they can just keep the war going for a time until money issues
2
many have jumped to youtybe and search up any russian channels to throw off some hate
2
Look at this guy, walking around in the street pretending being happy. If he not showing the reality, litterly crying over McDonalds stopping operations in his country, I will cancel playing Russian rulette. I really mean it.
2
Are you in Estonia, Lithuania or something? Most ordinary people in western europe would not react any special hearing someone speaking russian or have family from there. People are against the russian leadership and their system and actions not so much the ordinary citizens caught up in it
1
In reality, yes. But in the movie these obviously russian women are supposed to be western europe women, all wanting to marry the russian guy that have access to gas and eletric power
1
I can see him working as a journalist or similar sometime soon, maybe Germany yeah
1
One are free to ask, but selfstudy and other sources likely is the best solution for the spesial interested. Police, private armies, millitary, in an certain authoritarian state. It's 'hot stuff' to even talk about in public these days, especially when one are a citizen of the state, not a great fan of the system and not can talk about it with 'great positivity'
1
You, 8 years old, bought a airlane ticket, or took a car and just left
1
Fair enough, but many english, americans use such phrases a lot, like it or not)
1
The russian elite got much power and wealth because they have a dictator, and stays loyal to him. Money that should gone to the people in general, easier ends up in the elites pockets. A western way of running a country is a threath to them. Corruption also in the west naturally, but things are more open and a bit more difficult to get away
1
There are often some delays doing online interviews like this, technical stuff. Can easily make it look worse than it actually is regarding speaking over eachother
1
All countries in Europe got neo nazies, sertainly also Russia big time. They are a small small group. Putin's fantasy nazies is something else, there are millions of them, inkluding in Ukraine. Generally, a common name Putin calls peolpe that he thinks do not threath russian people well. When he call them nazies, he reminds the russian people about someone that attacked them in ww2, bad guys that needs to be taken down.
1
@manicmachinegun6253 Sure there are nazies, facists, ultra nationalists and so on in Ukraine. How to define a nazi today? Is it enough they wear a tatoo? Member of a party? Putin enjoys to use the Azov group as an example, 'Azov are nazies'.They are like 1000 troops The Ukrainian armey is several hundred thusand troops, ordinary peolpe fighting for their country. That's the russians take, 'Azov is nazi => all fighting for ukraine are nazies' Sure there are bad guys in Ukraine, and the Ukrainian government have done wrong things in Donbass. These things all gets a small deal after the Russians launvhed their invation and now like x5 times more people both sides are dead. Russia is like 'you killed 1 of ours, now we kill 5 of yours (an ours) as revenge'
1
24. At least 1 more year of 'vibe' must be allowed
1
Russia is governed by a dictatorship. Dictators like to show 'strength' in front of their people now and then, to justify keep staying in power for decades. This time the story is 'saving millions of Russians being killed by nazies', and at the same time grab some more land.
1
He has moved from the shit hole country, some weeks ago
1
His first podcast/interview... Thanks for your warm support.
1
'Let's liberate our people in Donbass, move them from this life on earth to Z-haven, lay all of the region falt to the ground so no one other can use it after the place is emptied for people'
1
Will be no particualr change until the people grown up during soviet time and their kind of mindset, is gone. Putin and his team of leaders, it's people trained and started building their careeres during the 70-80's. Maybe in 20 years when most of these people, 60-70 years and up, are gone, some positive improvements can be seen.
1
@steveosborne2297 Putin hs spent the last 20 years introducing Soviet 2.0 more or less and brought the country back in time. Hopefully things turns for the better when most of these people are gone. Not very optimistic about Russia for the next few decades, just hopes someone not too crazy takes over after Putin. Baby steps
1
there are still many KGB and Soviet minded old guys in power positions in the country. Will take some years before these dinosaurs from the past are all gone and some more modern people can take over
1
Soviet, KGB people in the leadership. All these dinosaurs form the past have to be gone first. But don't know what will come after, maybe just continue with some oligark, mafia guys. The russian people do not have tradition to engage much into politics, so typically easy for some strong-men to take power in that country
1
a big part of the people are grown up during soviet times, and wish to stay far away from politics, mind their own business and try getting by day by day. there are some protests around, mainly in bigger cities, among higher educated people, who are more follows politics, but their are relative few and are cracked down at. Will likely take some decades, with a bit less and less mafia/soviet minded people in the leadership.
1
Whole of the leadershp of the country are soviet people from the 70's and 80's. Dinosaurs from the past that soon will be gone. But replaced by what? Some other moderntime mafia people
1
Fair enough, but it's his channel and podcast, he can basically do whatever) And one can feel that Bald is not interested in giving out his whole lifestory in public, like most people, so they more talk about general stuff. I got no problem with that
1
A bunch of people want more and more, a easier life, more money and more material things, constantly. People with just 1 car are angry with people that got 2 cars, and those with 2 cars are angry with the ones that got 3 cars and so on. More stress
1
You will be rewared in heaven. Thanks.
1
Keeping you, and likeminded, occupied for some hours in the aftermath asking themself over and over 'WHAt was that about, WHY did they do that'
1
Possible. This is just a very unformal talk, between two friends/youtubers
1
'Adjust to changing times or go under', like a key word for people on the planet of earth for thousands of years
1
Everything that is different from the Russian State Media version is a lie
1
Well put. Thinks will change for the better, also for Russia, but will take it's time, at least a couple of decades
1
Russians do not give a shit about Donbass or it's issues. Dear Leader in Moscow needs to show up with some 'victories' now and then, trying to justify his regime and staying in power some more time. After fighting his 'nazies' in Ukraine, next adventure may be saving the Russian people from 'invading mongolian hoards', doing a 'special operation' in Mongolia.
1
If Sweden and Finland was a part of former USSR, that Putin dreams about revoke, well go for NATO, as the Baltics. If not, why do even care?
1
it's much a matter of options, or in other words lack of 'good' optional candidates that can keep a certain stability and control of the country with all it's oligarchs, kgb and soviet guys and so on and so on. it could quickly become a circus if not a 'strongman' present, may russians think
1
As an European, I'm not very optiistic about seeing a kind of 'normalized' Russia for many decades yet. Putin and his soivet buddies in control of the country will soon be gone, but got a feeling it likely will be some more modern version of 'mafia guys' that followsl, and that 'open and friendly people' will not come to power yet. There is a reason millions have left the country, and young educated people continue to move away to day. The soviet period really pulled the country down. But give it 50 years from now
