Guess many have it similar. You kind of feel relaxed about the situation, as you know that 'they are there', and you can contact/visit when you feel for it. When you parents grows older, and one day are not there, you might feel different, things have changed. One might start thinking 'I should have maybe seen them more often when alive, not been so 'selfish' staying all by myself for such long periods of time' Not ment as any critisism, just throwing out some ideas.

@kitecattestecke2303 That's a possible outcome, sadly. Some similar guy, +/- cruel, someone that want's to fullfill Dear Leader of Kremls wet dreams. Guess the country's economy won't be stronger in the near future, so might be limited what a follower can acheive.

Yeah, I think we will heremuch from this guy in the coming years, maybe as an journalist located in the EU in the future, as one of several options

Without nowing any details, it seems South America is among, or the, most peaceful corner of the world these days. The usual political stuff, but at least no tanks rolling in from across the borders
