  9. They usual do actually, no problem. But they usually do not make up for the emissions let out to manufacture and put them up, but that's another issue, and possible what you have heard. Of course there can be cases where they do not make enuogh money initially, but they are needed for 'no emmission power' in an area, and the society just have to take the extra cost

  11. Pilot whales and dolphins are much smarter than humans. They would never come back to the same islands every year when they just are being killed. Must be cod your are speaking about.

  12. So large focus at some hundred whales killed a year, while the about 1 million other whales in the north atlantic that are not involved in any hunting, nobody cares about at all. Probably not any money in it.. Why not praise, loveand spend time with all of the whales living 'normal lifes'. I do not get these people.

  14. No country and culture are as perfect as other cultures would wish them to be. The whale hunting draws relatively much extra attention because it's so visual and in the open compared to other kinds of hunting. It is not done for fun. the people love this food and always eaten their self-harested seafood. One should generally be careful trying to force other countries and cultures to change into something one as an outsiders like better. History is full of wars and conflicts. There are things one do not like and makes one feel bad, but it's not always reason good enough to force points of views onto another cultures. Most countries have more than enough internal issues that should be improved, before pointing fingers at others vaults. If there where any particular danger of the whales going extinct, and the whale population suffering too much, they would not been allowed the hunting. But they got the right to do the hunting, within the limits when it comes to numbers. The world will never be perfect, sometime it's better to not look and think too much about things one do not like, and better focus at positive things in life. there will still be lots of films spread on the internet, much because of rich donors wanting to change things into what pleases them more, putting a lot of money into showing it. I'm not from the island and have no interest in hunting.

  17. The inhabitants and companies at the different Faroese islands have a much stronger need and wish to get quickly around to the neighbouring islands than people in Irland and UK mainland got) Not economically interesting enough

  19. Used to build new roads outside the tunnels, industrial/storage areas. they have a plan up front for the use of it, where cities, communities, companies applies for rock, 'we would like xxxx tons of rocks for our x & y projects, or as much as you can spare'
