What is crazy is that local officials do no need to follow up and check on these home schools, just registrating and sending in some paperwork each year, from what I've heard, is it correct? Would think there should be some follow up of the kids. In the future they will go out in society.

  6. Read somewhere that some of the neighbours had no idea there was children in there. They [the neighbours close to the back yard] had often been sitting outside for hours and not seen or heard a sound from the house. Some other neighbours had on one occation seen a couple of the children next to their mother. they were for sure hiding out well. The grandparents had on several occations travel from W.Virgina to L.A wanting to visit, but the son and daugher in law would not tell the address, so they just had to turn back home. Nobody in the family where allowed to come visit, didn't know the address. But there were some contact by phone, however the children were not allowed to speak with family members
