I get like 10 a day, but gmail sort all of them out in a good way to the scam-box, so it don't bother me. The scammers are looking for any sort of replay, like 'f%%% o%%' and then one likely are moved to the list of 'emails with a respond' and there will be even more spamming. They share emails with other scammers, especially those where they get some kind of repaly, and naturally those who fall for scams. I suspect the scammers hacked my youtube account for the email and phone, after I commented for fun on one of their many bitcoin scam comments on YT.

I would say victims are mainly unknowledgable, but one can also call it dumb. I think these types of typical scams we see now, will slowly die out as new generations are much more knowledgable, and will much harder to scam. The question is, what will the scammers go for at a point in time when about everyone out there are computer experts?
