  1. Moscow region has the highest standard living, highest wages in the country, and many people live about same as in many western cities. But take a few steps outside the border of the Moscow region...and picture is a bit different...but yeah, most people live just normal lives. Steady rise of standard of living in most of the country I guess

  3. Naturally one can get whatever products in Russian, just a matter of money. Videos shows daily life of quite 'wealthy' person, living in the capital region. guess many people in the Moscow region have some similar standard of living avarage in many EU cities. But just travel some few miles outside the capital region, smaller towns, the country side, life is quite less 'idyllic', higher unemployment, low paying jobs, people need growing their own vegetables and so on.

Alexey H Is it a lye to say that standard of living is not as high in Russia cities and towns in general, as in the region of Moscow?) just saying that many sees the videos and think the relative high standard of living in Moscow is the same for the whole country. but hey, videos are fine, russia is fine, no problem. Sure, there are a lot of poor people in the US, as in most countries. US have a lot of problems with crime and drugs. I'm not american myself.
