  1. Germany got a coastline on the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, both connected to theAtlantic Ocean. Natural gas pipelines and eletrical cables coming in via the sea from Scandinavia up north. They take nothing, or where little gas & oil from Russia now. But it's like the video states, Germany has gotten into issuesdue to closing down that many of their nuclear and coal fired powerplants, resulting in the need to use more higher cost energy

Your grandparents most likely did not emigrated because they where 'smarter'. It was out of poverty or adventure,wanting to try something new. A majority did not wanted to leave their home land, and too many it was unpractical, expencive and so on. Germany has done very well 50's to 2000's, built up the economy strongly after the war.   3. Europe is a major trading partner with the US. The Us do not want to see a troubled Europe, meaning less trade and loss of american jobs. It's tied synergy, countires depending on each other. Like cutting off importing Chinese goods to the US, it would been a economical disaster

  18. Their agenda is to build up their countries, raise their standard of living. they do it all for themselves, not having 'crashing Western manufacture' as an special agenda. They manufacture at the cost that they can live with. So be it other countires have trouble competing with those costs, but that's not China or india's problem.   19. country side Germany is lovely, especial down south, tidy and clean, soild traditional houses, hard working diciplined farmers and other workers. Socialists in the cities has run the show.
