He is so interested in all the technical things and the history. Many rich guys just have the cars for the performance and status, but don't know much about the cars itself. but that's no problem, they just hire people to maintain and take care of the cars

Jay enjoy Ferraris, but he is a rich guy that 'dare to be different'. There are many great Ferrari collections already out there, so no worries. Jay likes to concentrate much on cars that not so many high end collectors care about, in additon he got many top level cars like McLaren P1 and so on. Basically he don't run after typically 'Ferrari, Rolex' objects that so many just chase because of status, but he is a more down to earth guy collecting cars he likes personally the best

why would anyone think of that? Jay does not care about the money or status. He is just have great passion in cars and motorbikes and takes care of them until they will be passed on to the next person

After retiring from hosting the famous Tonigh Show, he now mainly do standup comedy at clubs and so, that together with investments gives him a estimate 15 mill usd annually

Guess there are like 300 cars and motorbikes in the collection. One will just show some examples in a video like this. Jay got his own canal here one can study

He got 2-300 cars and motorbikes. Yes. He drives.

Estimated at about 50 mill USD. Jay is estimated at 400 mill total, and 15 mill annual income now. think of the insurance costs, electric bills, salary for 4-5 (?) mechanics, it costs ) But he can keep up

Just not ask...

It's an option that he have arranged for some kind of trust taking over the ownership, that might will give the public access to the garage, as a museum. Or he wants the collection to be individual sold to enthusiasts. Future will show. I feel he is not so concerned about the collection itself as a big thing, he often sell and buys stuff. I guess he is the most interested in that each car will be well kept into the future, weather it's a part of a collection or it will go to a small collector with 3-4 cars is the best option

It's amazing with all the posters and such he have collected. A couple of millions cost just there

Jay is not so concerned of the collection as a complete unit, he has just put together cars and motorbikes he personally finds interesting and worth taking care of. after his time I think he is the most interested in that each individual car/motorbike is taken over by someone that got real passion for them, and hopefull drives them, not let them sit unused in a museum. That might mean the collection will be split . naturally it would be cool if the collection/garage would just be passed on to some guy that would keep everything as is, but not so highly likely imo

Jay has chosen not to follow the 'main stream' among rich guys, by not collecting Ferrari. Ferrari is like 'Rolex', very well known brand, and 'everyone' wants it. But there are many just as good cars like Ferrari, and watches like Rolex, performing just as well, but at a bit more moderate price level which makes that one can have more

Jay loves Ferraris, both does not collect them himself. Ferraris have in general a very 'pushed up' price levels as so many rich people collect them. I think he prefer to have like 3 other brand high level cars, than 1 Ferrari.
