  1. Not part of the Union, but got a close deal/relation with the EU, mainly due to it's export business getting tariff free access to the EU market. As a part of the deal Norway has to incorporate many of EUs laws and regulations, and also contribute with some money into the EU system, as in giving economical support to poorer parts of the EU
