  1. Sure, PBMs in the US negotiate prices and gets more profit in THEIR pockets. The middlemen is the big problem in the US, marking up prices enormously, it's not only about what the manufacturers demand. I Europe the governments are involved with drug prices, putting a roof of what the manufacturers and middlemen can profit. As of 5'th of August it is specualted in Swiss media that the manufacturers almost has to offer their products 'for free' to the US PBM's in order for the US consumers to see same prices as UK and other Europe nations.
