It was filled with gas, as a default. They want it filled all the time for technical reasons. Regarding the new unused Nordstream 2, it was filled with gas from the testing, methane they say.

One will find the holes and seeif it was explosives used. But likely not find a signature of the creators of the holes

Costs regarding the pipeline is peanuts compared to what is in play political in Europe at the moment, at a high level. It's an open question

Lol...USA doing terror operation in the waters of their long time fellow NATO friends, for possible peanuts of money. Ok Ivan.

Blowing up one of the Norwegian lines likey was way too obvious in regard who was behind. They chosen to blow up some pipes not in use, to create uncertainness. And one can answere 'why would we blow up our own pipelines? that is crazy'
1
soviet nuclears were stored in Ukraine, but the keys and control were in Moscow
1
@Bothandle70 Lol...a Polish EU representive sits with the full and only thruth
1
Yeah. Biden is known to be very clear spoken and good with words.

Putin wil not last for so long. Maybe up to 2-3 years. Big pressure from both inside and outside Russia. He took a very big risk starting his war, and now anger is growing in Russia with mobilisation, that he needs because he did discover that the war was not so easy to win. And it will not be easier, throwing lots of untrained men into the frontline, in combination with shipping in equipment from the 1960's
1
Lol...he said the USA would help make sure the Nordstream 2 was not opened for business, that is putting pressure on Germany not to use it. Germany did not approved the test documentation of the new pipeline, and it was not put in operation.
1
russia will live. But not Putin
1
He said USA would put pressure on Germany to not take the pipeline in use, as in 'end the pipeline'. And German officials did not accepted the doccumentation of the pipeline, and it was not taken in use
1
Creating uncertainness in western Europe is 'nothing to gain', too Putin..?
1
I don't think this is about economical benefit. It's most likely, if man made, a part of a bigger political play creating uncertainess, and the economical costs regarding the pipelines are minor in the big picture. It's a open question
1
The switch was already turned off. Blowing it up could be a part of a political game to threaten the west stop supporting Ukraine and lift sanctions.
1
Joe does hardly know what state he is in. Not worry about it.
1
Yes. He told that the US would put pressure on Germany not to take the pipeline in use. Germany did not approved the documentation of the pipeline, and did not take it in use. It happened before Putin's war. Putin and his commerades on top of the Russian tower is fighting desperately to stay on top.
1
Biden hardly knows what state he is in, and what is the correct door out of the kitchen

1
Of course you do, Ivan. It's your job.
1
Yes. It's all a political game. They want to create chaos and stress in western europe. blowing up 2 pipelines..'you should not feel too safe'
1
@mattvjmeasures On a even lighter note; Putin is no average Russian)
1
It sad, lots of pollution. The gas is cut off in the ends of the pipes. This is the gas that was already stored in the pipes, getting out
1
The amount for reparing the pipeline is just peanuts in this big political gameplay that is going on for Putin
