Takes longer to charge and some less capacity during freezing winters, could be like 10-30% less capacity depending on temperature, but no actual issue, one just need to charge a bit more/often

@honesty_-no9he but cold enough many places further away from the mild west/south-west coast, to make a difference regarding battery capacity summer vs winter. But thank god for the 'American Gulf Stream')

In Norway EV's did see taxreliefs so the pricesfor EVs and ICE cars where about similar earlieron when both where sold. Today it's like 95% of new cars sold are EVs, as EVs got a lower 'fuel cost' . An new issues that has come around is the number on EVs around are bringing insurance costs ou for all car owners. EVs get to a higher degree quicker scrapped by the insurance companies as parts and repairs are pretty expencive. crap yards are full of EVs only like 5 years, looking as new. Got scraped kust because of 'a small dent near the battery compartment' One do not dare go fix at things that got to do with the battery, and the price for replacing a battery is often so high that it's not worth it. there is a higher factor of 'buy and throw away' with EVs, but many seems not to want to take that into account, just mainly look at the cars are driven on 'clean energy', which is mainly hydro and wind power in Noway

Takes longer to charge main battery and less capacity in freezing winter conditions. 10-30% less capacity one often need to height for. Many charing points around in Norway, so it's no serious issue. More of an issue is the standard 12v battery in electric cars, that is needed to 'fire up' the EV's, kind of similar as with petrol, diesel cars. If that battery is a bit old, more easily can have issues during winter, it not able to supply enough power to get the systems of the EVs started
