@hawaii5084 Yeah, it will likely be back, combining parts from the unfinished sister and the original

yes, humans all over the world kill animals for food. it's maybe a stupid traditon, but it's a part of life
3
what about we all try to fix our own countries and all the big number of problems there, before we point fingers at other country's issues

Nobody needs to be ashamed. More women then men these days aim for higher eduation, and this often means move away as young to larger cities, which often mean mainland Europe when it comes to the Faroese. It's same in many countries. The last years many younger peope have been moveing back to the islands, but then they are already married

I don't know. There are about 100.000 of these whales in the waters around Faroe Islands. They hunt for some hundreds of them every year, and apart from that there are a few thousands of these whales that are dead of natural causes every year. for the sake of Faroe Islands, the number of hunted whales are carefully regualted in order to not overhunt. They have done this for 500-1000 years, and the whales are still around

the numbers one can find with various science institutions of countries on the North Atlantic Ocean, that followes the life in the ocean closely. Around 800.000-1000.000 pilotwhales are in the North Atlantic Ocean, there of about 100.000 close to Faroe Islands. On average, 670 pilot whales have been killed in Faroe Islands each year the last 10 years. @Andrew_EvsW

and it's said that several thousand other whales around the waters of Faroe Islands are dying a year, just disapears in the dark ocean. It's a very hard inviroment for the whales.

The main issue is more women than men move permanently away from the countryside/islands, to bigger cities. Many come back hom later, but then they are already married. Most of these men are possible not 'bad', but they enjoyed the best to stay at the small places they grew up, doing 'simple' jobs, fishing, farming, while more women are attracted to 'citylife' and higher education jobs. It's typical also in other nordic countries like Norway and Sweden with large areas with just villages, little people living

More Faroese women than men moves to mainland Europe for higher education an work, thats why. Many Faroese women come back after a few years these days, but then they are already married for the most.
1
It's been said for the last 1000 years. The vikings, among else, where all over the place, settling down, mixing, or taking people of foregin cultures back home
1
It's a win-win situation to 2 people who agrees to move together, both agreed on the things. So no problem
1
then it would been racism to say anything about it.
1
how will that make life on Earth better in general... There are endless of bigger problems around the world than some island people hunting whales in their waters
1
that's another documentary series;)
1
Well, the world police have had oh..about 800 years, to arrest these hunters.. but still not there. Maybe in a 1000 years.
