  2. The evacuation order came the 19'th of May and the inhabitants got 1.5 hours to leave. Hard to find videos of the evacuation, but I will guess most cars present in town where filled up and driven out of there. A few small communities nearby the town where people did not had to evacuate due they were loacted at higher up in the terrain , further away from where the mudslide where to come down. The mudslide was much larger than anyone could imagine, and closed off the roads in the area. People left in the neighbourhood of the town will have to move now too, only access road where through the town

  3. No, there aren't. The disaster area is way to unsafe moving into for a good while. In the meantime they are occuapied moving out remaining residents, their cars and stuff, further up the valley, who initially didn't had to evacuate , but now the roads and utillities are all gone so can't live up there

  4. nah...europe is not throwing in the towel, it's communities have been around for thousands of years, so has rock slides of he Alps.
