Your initial statement 'everything in America is from Europe, Americans copy' and bla bla makes the rest of your message kind nothing to take too serious) But you rise some good points also. You are maybe a young person? It's alright. What's important to a big part of the american companies and truckers is the large sleepers. They are often on the road for several weeks at the time, and enjoy the comfort of a big living space. The most practial driver cabs for those big sleepers are the traditional nose trucks, or 'conventials' as they say, where the engine is pushed up front and the cab is sitting not too high from the ground for easy going in and out, and walking into the sleeper. The long nose trucks are no issue driving on the big highways, and the length of the truck it self is not a part of the maxlength allowed, only the length of the trailer counts. When the front axle is way up front, the driver is not sitting on top of it, that makes the cab move around less (without adding advanced damperes and such) There are minuses as more noise from the engines, more difficult to get around in narrow city streets and such, but they can live worth it as the big sleeper is such a good advatage. Euro trucks, cab overs, is better for driving around in the cities. But cab overs are not just not so popular in the US. They got the trucks they like, and if many enough want's other kinds of trucks too, like Eruo cab overs, they will get it. Let's not worry about the americans and their trucks, they get the job done)
