  1. The engine/driveline is developed from the bottom at Scanias engine lab. Scania started prodution of the engine for it's trucks in 2021, International/Navistar in 2022, MAN supposed to start production in 2024. Scania been making trucks for 100 years before MAN/VW came into the picture. Don't worry about it. If they where not decent enough, they would been out of business decades ago.

  5. That's alright, as long as one can live with something less good in some cases.

  6. Just different gear ratios, engine rpm about the same, maybe 100-200 rpm more in the US on average. No problem. Less clean US diesel can be an issue.
