Scania do not have their trucks type approved in the Us. Lots of small details will be different. US standard not better, but different. This specific truck is temporary legal on US roads, as a demo truck. Need to get out of the country in 2-3 years.

Foregin car and truck companies got factories in the USA, and avoid import tariffs

No manufacturer can survive in North America without offering conventional hooded trucks. If there was a market big enough for a DAF XG, they would already been there. Paccar offer a small DAF cab, XF ?, for some vocational trucks like garbage trucks and such where it is an advantage with a compact modern cab

I guess what more possible will happen is Scania/MAN/VW will modernize and further develop the International Navistar trucks that already got hooded cabs and is a well known brand in the US. They took over the company in 2022.A Scania T-cab will look a bit more interesting to some Us trucksers, but problem is still Scania is a new and unknown brand in the USA. There is very strong competition on price. Many transport companies want to buy the cheaper trucks, they do not want to give their drivers too much 'luxuary', like one will find in a Scania. Many US drivers are foreginers, from poorer countries, that will take the job, whatever truck it is

Lol....a bracket plate behind the cab, some deck plates and hub caps (very common in europe) , and now it's suddenly an American truck? :) Sweet.

they will not make better without being forced to it

@mburden9494 Scania do not offer a T cab. There are custom made T cabs, at 30-40 percent more expensive than the original cabover trucks. Scania will unlikely develop a new T cab for the US market.T cabs is part of history for the brand, not the future

This is the USA. Not Sweden or Europe. He do not need to know.

What about slowly starting to figure out when someone spend 250K for a new truck, they can to what the F%&¤ they want with it

People are waaaaay to curious how this Scania will do in the US. The channel will grow.

Scania only wants their name to be mentioned as much as possible at social media. All the fuzz around styling of this Scania is all good news forthe company, it helps themgetting more attention

Art paint is popular in Europe, but americans likes a more a clean look, uses mostly stripes and a few colours.

t's a cabover, it is a BIG difference form US trucks. The customize is of less importance
