@hnorrstrom They are well built, good instructons. One need to study the sketches closely, can in some instances easily mount some parts mirrored of what they are supposed, if not paying attention) Adviced to replace the original motor with a slower running 55t to 80t crawler motor for better control, more realistic driving

must go through a lot of tests and sertifications, years, to make it legal for commercial, bib big costs, something one would do if introducing a vehicle on the US market, to split the costs on thousands of vehicles. There is no need for making this one leagal for anything but a show truck, license limited for 1 year at the time

Feel free to donate some millions...There is no need to do anything more than make it legal drving to shows, doing road tests

Lots of paperworks, sending paperwrks, receiving paperworks, waiting for paperworks... and work on the truck had to be done after it left the production line. All this was known

People observe Scanias crossing in from Mexico to the US for delivery of goods. They drive a short distance into the US. Can't drive anywhere

Selling used truck parts, used trucks, youtube. Repairshop mainly for used trucks to be put up for sale. Not into commercial freight. Scanias are for hobby and youtube content

Scania got no nose) Scania type COE cabs where much used in the US up to 70's, 80's, when some rules change and made it more popular with long hood and the big sleepers

It's just what the regulations are. It's a one off show truck owned by the manyfacturer allowed in the country for a limited period, and allowed no to be driven where ever. Only a truck model to be sold in thousands, would get a fully offical license
