Scania will naturally set up production in the Us, if going for that market. More likely wewill see International NAvistar hooded trucks with Scania/MAN tech

This looks like a customized Scania. There are chrome parts and other non origial parts!!? It looks exactly like an American truck now, and we euro truckers do NOT accept this at all!!! The Scania was SO perfect out of the factory!! Why totally ruin it?? We are going to unsub now!!!

It's a Scania owned demo truck. Some last details is worked on in getting things fully legal. Naturally for the sake of views it's fine indicating some 'drama'

buuuuut Canada will be a great state, so great again

Driver would not mind, but companies wants to spend as little as possible. Doing things more comfortable for drivers means less profit

'regular Scania? There are hardly now regular Scania, there are so many options and combinations aviable. V8 and inline 6 are both normal, just depends on your total load and kind of terrain. Of course 600+ hp is overkill if just 40-45 tons

Hanging around in fantasy world is nice. If you find time to visit the real world in near future, her is some real world info; Volvo has pushed in so much of their euro tech in their US trucks as they have dared and found economical suitable, packed in a classic hooded cab with big high comfort sleeper, as the US markets enjoys the best. They have been working on this for 30+ years and has reached a market share of about 10%. Summary; there are US truck manufacturers still in business.

The 770 is quite economical for it's size, especially when not being too heavy on the pedal, but naturally it is not optimal for just 80K lbs where 500-600 hp tops is more than enough, and more economical. The 770 are in europe typically used with 100K-200K lbs total weights, often in combination with hilly terrain.

Big investments. They have not seen interest enough for Euro cab models in the US. They will more likely put more Scania & M.A.N technology into Navistar trucks

The wheel is invented 3000 + years ago. 30 years +/- minus is nothing. The wheel is still round and it rolls, moving parts from A to B, including in the US where the trucks helps the country being the largest economy of the world, still.

Likely to see more and more Scania and german M.A.N, technology in the International Navistar trucks, under the convential hooded cabs that the US market is used to and enjoys the most. Then maybe as a sideshow offer some euro cab trucks for vocational use, inter city use

because Scania do not offer a long nose?
