Risk vs damage/cost potential assessment. Tug boats and crew is a limited resource, as with so much else, one need to use it where the risks are higher. No tug used here, means there are more critical locations where the need is higher for tugs

Risk vs cost/damage assessment in the big picture. Tugs used where the risk is higher than here

Insurance and the public. The comapny a smaler part.

It's a risk vs cost assessment, as with so much else

Risk vs damage/cost assessment. Tug boats and crew is a limited resource, as so much else. One put it in where the need is assumed to be the biggest, which was not in this location
1
Risk vs damage/cost assessment. One got limited resources and need to focus at where the risk is concidered highest, and this bridge was not in that group

The bridge is still there, nothing happened actually. Just walked over it.

Lol..like those having conspiracy theories as their big passion and hobby in life would have an incident like this go by! I'm not into that hobby, so not bother at all reading more than your first sentence, sorry:) Good luck to you guys, will likely keep you busy and sleepless for years to make fantacies about 'why and how')

Correctly. Accidents never happens anymore. Last known accident in the US happened in late 50's, Deember 1958, as Mr Georgis hit the fence along his garden with his Cadillac, as he was entering the yard. After that it's all sabotage and arranged by someone

We are always worried. Life is high risk, no one have survied so far.

because it is not a difficult route to get in and out

Risk vs damage potential/cost assessment. There is limited resoures aviable, and one have to do certain assessments. Yes, making a island or bumper around such pillars are the best

Naah..all bridges have a set of large cranes at standby, at least according to the youtube experts, that I put my trust in @_Ben4810

All the concern in the world could not bring them back to life, sadly. Repplacing the bridge is the only thing one can do something about

Got nothing to do with Ukraine. Don't be stupid
1
As with many ships around the world. Ukrainians are a well known workforce in international shipping. No one gets to be a captain of such large ships without proven their skills over years, all the paperwork and schools, working their way up the ladders. Ships are complex, with lots of systems that potentially can fault. Usuallly things goes well, but accidents can always happen. Thats why there are insurance

I blame the owner of the bridge. If it was not there, it would not been hit.

They where. No signal at the bottom of the ocean. Sadly.
