It's a group of many thousand people that leads the country forward on a daily basis, it does not depend on 1 person. There is no particualr decline, the US is still by far the biggest economy of the world, but China is growing more

They can but forward a puppet, that will take the Trumo rage, and the real leaders of the country can work behind the scene, under the radar, in peace and quiet with their agendas, new green deal and so on without taking too much heat. With a President that is more up front and wnt to decide things, these people behind the scene will have a more difficult time
