  5. It's understandable that many find it interesting to think about Hitler gone hiding in South America. Would not think that race of people of Argentina played a possible role. Someone going from potentially being the 'ruler of half the world' to living in a small town in south america, in a house with a small garden, sitting reading books at the terrasse, as someone like to claim, I see as highly unlikely. These kind of people are highly highly proud, could never lived with the big defeat

  9. Why not? Do everyone need to look the same places? Maybe he liked Argentina and wanted to visit? Many collebrators from around europe, got a visa for the US, in adition to some germans, but when it comes to german nazies, it is well known that south america is a 'hot pot', espesially Argentina

  10.  @daniel86250  I've not come over any official numbers that supports your statement, but it's allowed to estimate what one wish. Much more difficult to hide away in the US than south america, so not so popular destination. He is not trying to smear any country's name, just traveling to where he will have a larger chance to track decendents of germans, as they more often used their real names and lived more openly than they dared in the US, I guess Not many feeling hate towards Argentina because of those germans fleeing there and blended in to the german societies allready present there

  11. Yes, but why let great engineers and scientists go to vaste? Guess they would sort out the 'devoted nazies', keep the more ordinary people, just wanna work. The war was over, life had to continue. Can't blame the American government for having a practical view on it
