@jamesgoode9246 Last couple of years it has been written more than before in Norwegian media regarding nuclear energy and thorium. The Hydro power potential is getting close to be fully developed in Norway and last 10 years quite a few large wind turbine parks have been put up onshore, which now have led to quite large public resistance, lots of people and ounties do not want to see more wind turbines being put up. This has been leading one to look more into other optional energy sources. Europe's largest disccovered concentration of rare earth minerals/metals is located not far away from Oslo , the capital, 'Fensfeltet'. Mixed with the minerals is large amiunts of Thorium , a local company has plans ready for taking use of the 'tailings', left overs, from mining the rare earth metals, making a concentrate selling it to future nuclear plants. It's pretty intersting seeing the development within Thorium nuclear plants the later years, how they can make them so compact, putting it in 40 foot shipping containers. Might see something being commercial within a not too distance future
