  1. That's sadly the facts, but we can not talk loud about it in the western media. Nato and EU pushed too far east, flirting with Ukraine and a possible membership. Putin sees Nato as a real threat, and a Ukraine possible into NATO. He wanted to take action before it was too late, in his mind

  2. That attitude is a problem, will just lead to nuclear war and self destruction. Better option is to keep a certain distance. NAto moved too far into eastern Europe

  3. Putin have felt threatened by NATO moving further into eastern Europe with troops and weapon systems the last years, and there has been flirting with Ukraine concerning a possible membership. Putin had enough and did not want to wait for the outcome, a possible future placement of Nato deep into ex-soviet land. He want a regime change in Ukraine, to end the war in Donbass, and keep Nato away from Ukraine for yet some years

  4. The ukraine regime have been messing around in the east for 7 years without seeing it was a total locked situation, and just a matter of time before Putin had enough. They should had let those soviet/russian minded regions go years ago, it was a hopeless idea to try bring those people with them into a 'new ukraine' . Hope they are wise enough, for the ukrainian peope, to put arms down and get out of Donbass

  7. A poll showed 45% for, 40% against some days ago. I think many russians were aware of a possible minor invasion in Eastern Ukraine, not going into the whole country

  8. Putin do not care about taking over Ukraine, he just want to put a foot down and not let Nato in there, by a regime change, someone that want to stay neutral
