Yeah, you are bringing up old propaganda. Stick to it

With not having to pay 25% VAT, and some other taxes, the eletric cars are the same prices as ordinary diesel/petrol
1
Do you really think the EV manufacturers have ANY interest in letting you drive your EV around for 2-3 deacades just like an old Mercedes diesel car from the 80's / 90's? They MAKE SURE, of course, like the TV manufactures, to install some components and modules that will do it uneconomical to replace after they break down after a few years. Anyway, good luck @Gazer75

Hydro electric. 90%+.

Junked, or exported

No need to be locked in a garage. One take in the polluted air from production of EV's, every single scond of the day. It's a living hell @okklidokkli

1995 Mercedes diesel. No problem here.

Looking away from 1.2 million people, there are zero americans buying EVs. Sad.

Trail and error. No development with out it. New batteries will ome, that are less sensitive too temperatures. and so on

Don't worry, you will spend your retirement at a bar in Thailand, with a nice pension

There is the 25% VAT on about everything, been for decades, it's just a part of the income tax when all comes to all. One of the few exceptions is no VAT for the first 50K usd of cost of a new EV. But will likely not be like that too many years ahead

Any leadership that don't let us keep more of our money, to buy more junk filling up our basements, are naturally stupid people. It's very logic, do not even have to say it.
1
Yeah, the Norwegian state missing out on car taxes with the EVs, it's a planned sponsorship. But they take it in somewhere else, you bet.
1
and we do not want to be bothered by having to fill petrol/diesel. So we walk. Much healthier and safer.
1
But they do not last so long. After 6-8 years they are supposed to be junked. It's not like 80's and 90's diesel Mercedes that one see drving around still or something

Does not matter, the oil that Norway would not sell the world, would be replace by others. No change. Norway are not stupid, and take this income while it's there, and invest it in among else EV infrastructure.
