  2. They are the modern wagon. Problem is most of these newer crossover/SUVs got such a small room for luggage in the rear, as they are built so short. Naturally there are some luxury giant SUVs with good space, but I'm thinking of standard ones. I better prefere my 90's Mercedes wagon when I need shove a lot of stuff in)

  3. High purchase cost because of high taxes. High gass prices in Europe. Narrower streets and parking lots. These are factors not making the large SUV's so popular in Europe

  5. A station wagon is like the standard 4 door sedan version of the car, but with a roof line stretched all the way to the rear, and a big rear/5'th door. Look up, for example, 'Mercedes 124 sedan' and 'Mercedes 124 wagon'

  6. SUV's are 'cool', and one sit higher. But I miss more room for luggage. In our good old Mercedes wagon from the 90's we can shove in like 'twice' as much stuff behind than in the BMW X5.
