  1. Russia is etnically very mixed, lots of different regions. In the 2 cities of Moscow and St Pete is the big part of the country's wealth concentrated, at a reatively low percentage of the ountry's inhabitants. There is the european Russians; the 1'st class, then there is the rest, the 2'nd class. This large mall in Moscow for the small perentage of rich/middle class is not representative. But sure, it looks great

  6. Everything looks safe and orderly in a big mall in Moscow, while they invaded and got busy killing off their neighbours 500 miles further south by the tens of thousands for no obvious reason other than making the Russian empire bigger. One can't avoid but loving these people

  7. Junkies, homeless people, and people who generally protests towards the government are quite quickly removed from the streets. Not seeing much of junkies, homeless and criminals in the streets is postive. On the other hand some people experience other kinds of issues living in an authorterian state, that will make the junkies and homeless of the streets of the US not be so unbearable after all if one put freedom high. Feel free to move there and give it a try

  8. Stuff can go in via 3'rd party companies in countries that are not directly involved in the sanctions. And many things are made in China, with different brand names put on ot. It's hard to make many of the sanctions hurt, as there are often ways around them. Sanctions generally can take many years to make an effect. An bigger effect of the sanctions over some years may be less high paid jobs with foregin companies left, and less foregin investments
