They get the basics, both in Mosow and smaller cities, an issue is prices has gone up for a lot of stuff, and Moscow/St Petersburg got the highest salories and is the biggest market for the more expencive products

You need luck. Lots of luck regarding your statement 'wages, real income, are roughly same in all countries', as in purchasing power. Wait. Let me correct. You need H*LL of luck;) @HECKAKYH-ADEKBATEH

Access to milk, bread, butter in malls is no indication of anything. Their problem is foregin money, investments and export value decreasing and it's long term implciations on jobs, salories and so on, this is conerning 10, 20 years ahead in time, nothing happening overnight.

When people in foregin countries write 3-400$ / month, it's is meaning 300-400. @ekaterina2375

Russia is doing very very good, there is milk, butter, bread and tea in the supermarkets. Actually Russia has never done better as they have even replaced McDonalds. Rus.

Russia is doing very very well, there is 23 different types of milk in the supermarkets, butter, bread, T-shirts. People are moving in from all over the world, foregin investments increasing rapidly.

This is not about shops and milk, bread, butter. The problem is potential long term effects on the job market, salories as foregin investments and value of export is dereasing over time. We're not talking about 2-3 years, but 10-20 years. Possible China will, and are stepping in, as a savyor

No Coca Cola or english tea in the shelves is 'nothing' They got the basic food and stuff people need, and supermarkets work as normal. Real effects of sanctions are more hidden to the public and something evolving over years, 10, 20 years from reduced foregin investments, potential less and lower paid jobs in the long run, young 'brain power' leaving the country. Possible China will move more and more in and make up for some of this, and have more power. One need to more study the big lines, not just look at some supermarket and it's shelves
