Bullied kids often feels like a 'nobody' and got low self estime. Most would never do anything, but a very few would try to do something to make them 'famous', make them be 'somebody', by hurting or killing a well known person. 'You who bullied me, look at me, I am a dangerous man, I am a well known person now, may name is all over the media!!' Time will show if there was anything political into this, but possible more likely it was just about Trump being a well known, famous figure, and he happened to visit nearby

Scania knows all of this regarding marketing, but it's okay to mention it. The US market has not been a high focus to them the last decades, they have focused at several other markets. The US heavey truck market is VERY concervative, with the idea of a conventional hooded truck with big sleepers to be the one and only way, sticking VERY DEEP. With the larger number of foregin drivers behind the wheel in the US, things can slowly change. For now it's no big deal to them, they are just watching from the sideline, curious of the american's reaction to a euro cabover as of 2025. Of course there are a certain interest to something new and different. When, or if, Scania feels it actually could potentsially be worth allocating some of their people and resoures backing up Bruce more, they will do so. Sure, some business cards and caps, cups, could be fixed and handed out at shows. I am european, thinking Scania is a fine and cool truck, but I really don't care what they drive in the US. They got some cool trucks too. They can do whatever and seem to manage to get their goods from A to B, just like we do in Europe.

Nothing wrong to own antique cars and trucks, enjoy the art of operating them, preserve the history. Your friend is driving a truck to make a living, get goods from A to B. Of course he has to focus at operating current trucks. Sorry, can't stop development, it's all about hauling more goods faster, and at a lower cost, and higher comfort to the drivers, less health issues, less worn out shoulder and so on. If he takes an interest in antique trucks as a hobby, he can learn to operate them well enough if he wish. Of course he is a truck driver! There is nothing stupid about potentially less health issues after years in a truck!

@Savagetechie Not quite agree. I think this truck is first of all about getting the name Scania known to more US truckers. It is more of an 'attention getter', a 'forerunner', a gimmick if you like. A bit less important at this stage to show off factory spec's and all technical details. If this was the case, there would possible be a representative from Scania coming along to the shows, which there likely will not be. Later on, if Scania want do go for the US market, they will present themself all about factory specs, and it's easier when more people already have heard the name up front, seen videos, photos. Anyway, no big deal.

@RangKlos It does not matter. Yes, there are people in Ukraine that define themselves as nazies, also within the Azov group, and all European countries including Russia, that got more nazies as it is a much bigger country. These nazies all over Europe are 0.000001% of the people, they got NO political power. whatsoever. The Russians take this Azov group, that contains many different people with different political views, including some nazies, and say those very few people represent the majority of Ukraine and it's leadership) It's totally laughable that someone actually falls for these fairytales. The Ukrainians just want to keep their original land, and get away from the russian influence that have lasted for decades, and become a modern society.

@PeraPeric-n1f First, sorry for having upset you, it was not my purpose. It's not my opinion, or fantasy, but based on following the trucking business in Europe for a few years..Sure, your observations are correct, Scania is more rarly seen south of the Nordic countries. I bet one of your other observations, regarding cars, is that you see a lot of VW's around in Europe, but rarly see any Rolls Royce. And you conclusion is; Rolls Royce is not a great car, so few people buy it, they more like VW. Not comparing Scania to Rolls Royce, but Scania is the more expencvie truck, and they have long delivery time. There are several less costly brands, and that can deliver faster, and do the job okay. In the Nordic countries there is economy to largly go for the more expencive trucks, Scania and Volvo, which are the clear market leaders there. All the other brands are aviable too, lots of competition. This said, drivers are different, some likes Sania, some don't, but it do not take away the facts there are many drivers dreaming of drving a Scania, but their company says 'no' ;) Okay, I'm done here sir, not going further with any discussion here, have a good day

JD Transport All countries are placed somewhere on the scale, low, medium, top. It's not difficult to find countries where it is x10 more dangerous on the roads than Russia, and also countries where it is less dangerous. It looks more dangerous on russian roads than it is as about every car have a dashcam, so we get to see 'all'. While in other countries maybe just 10% of the cars have dashcam, and it all looks more 'safe', as we just see a fraction of the actual accidents on video. but natually, in all countries there are potensial for making the roads safer, Russia, England and so on

And still no one can beat the US as the number one economical power of the world. Think of it, Europe, China, they got the advantage of degree celsius, metric stystem, these very very supperior systems, like space tech systems, but still can't beat the US!? I mean, the americans not quite know what temerature they got, or the length of things, as their measureing system is strange. It's like, 'we think it's 78.5 degree fahrenheit today...but we are not quite sure, as our system is a bit different. It could be 76.5 for all we know'

People say it's the most oval Oval Office, in the history of the country, probably anywhere in the world, anytime, no no, listen, it's a tremendous office, actually a great great office, one of the greatest, if not the greatest, no no I not saying, people saying, everyone saying, Chris, you will visit the office, and you are actually going to do that, visit the office, probably not many are going to visit the office, not many do, but some people do, some people do, and you are going to do that Chris, today, infact right now, who could imagine, cake?

Russia is a sad show, in many aspects. What to say, the 'bullies of the class rooms' are sitting with the grip of power, money and the guns. Decent people with 'brains' have been pushed away, removed from society, move abroad, in a larger degree than 'simpler people'. Ukraine wants to break away from this system, the soviet mindset, and naturally, and sadly, the bullies in the east could not let that go without punishment. The war maybe a unavoidable situation, a price to pay for freedom from the bullies.

Will think there are different videos/channels around that more are directed towards childeren/youth. Sten's content seems directely aimed towards grown ups, 'detailed and complicated', don't know if he is the right one to make 'fun and easy to understand' content towards children. Anyway, maybe he can. Videos are a good supplement, but also have parents going in front as a good example, engage the child in creating some healthy basic dishes from young age. 'A healthy breakfast' in the US likely is healthier than the norm and/or what it used to be, but still a bit 'shady' to what is concidered healthy by Scandinavian standards. I don't know if a good old lunchpack from home with your choice of food, is allowed/possible, or the child will feel 'sad and different' about it seeing the other children eating 'snacks' for breakfast/lunch. Maybe that 'shady' school breakfast will do less damage than letting the child feel possible sad and different', and then make sure all the rest of the meals in the day are healthy/of your choice. That would be quite much better than the average US child, being served junkfood 24/7

Trump : 'Look at that boy, what a great boy, his parents are so proud of him! '
CNN fact checker : 'We have done an investigation and found the boy the President pointed at from the podium, is named Doug, 8, and lives in Wuppash, Ohio. Our team spent 5 days in town and interviewed several of the neighbor kids and their parents, including several of his teachers and other students. Doug throw a stone through a window at age 6.5, repeated it 4 months later, and spilled milk at the classroom floor 3 weeks ago, called the teacher a 'dork', yelled at his mother at several occasions the past 5 months. The conclusion is this is not 'a great boy'. Another lie from the President. A terrible lie'

'Paid by the government of Belarus?' Yeez...When there are strict rules for filming around in Belarus 'on paper', and other ex-soviet countries, they are obviously not cared to be followed up by the local officials, as with many 'strict rules on the paper'. I think they likely just care if someone are caught filming around military stuff, getting into political stuff. Honestly, there are possible a lot of foreigners in the capital, including journalists, that have filmed riots without anyone care. Nowadays there are many foreign tourists roaming around in the ex soviet countries, with cameras naturally, it has changed a lot since the 'fall of the wall'. As long one are not looked at as a direct threat to the political regimes, just filming locals, trees, roads, the sky, cats, fields, one can almost do 'whatever', part from obvious 'normal' crimes as robbery and so on. The country are happy to get some income from tourists. Mr Bald's channel is a travel channel, showing people, culture and places, he wisely stays off topics like politics and religion. If one are interested in the politic situation of the countries Mr Bald is visiting, as many of us also are, one are seeking other sources.

There are people living in such way, even in western europe. It's mostly their own choice, and often do have a okay pension. Also in Norway some choose to live at places with no electrisity, and sometimes no road for car. But there a very few of them left these days. From what I have experienced it's mostly out of sentimental reasons, people lving in old farm houses where they were born, farming now ended long time ago, wanting to stay there as long as health allows. I knew one in Norway in the 90's. A outgoing older fellow, well known by most people in the county. Money no problem, good pension, but prefered to live in the old crumbling house he was born up in the mountains, no water, no electric. He felt the house was not worth putting any money into, just kept the roof sealed from the rain, and he was happy enough in his small kingdom, and old mountain farm (not operating)

Mercedes, Audi, VW, Skoda, Kia, and others, looking more and more the same. Why can't they just create one, or let's say two, car companies, put them all together, and they can just put a number '1' and number '2' in the grille for the other group to differ them. Easy!

A 'cultural clash', topped with discrimination is my feeling, without living close to the situation. Seems like people of Lunik IX are more traditonal, while there are others who have gone their own ways, a bit away from the traditional. I'm thinking to myself, higher eductaion. What if the parents had allowed the children going for higher education first, not started heir own family in a young age. Then on the other hand, will there be any higher education avaiable too these children, and what about discrimination they possible will be met with. It's a complicated situation for sure, I can imagine. Both 'sides' possible needs to think some new, give and take, not just stick to their old ideas.

I know hills, living in Norway, lots of 770S and 750 volvos all around here, and for a good reason. What i see in the US is mainly endless flat lands, gentle hills, and fully understand the 450-550 hp typical trucks, with just 37 t total weight; nothing compared to Europe. But again, sure in the Rockies, many driving there mainly, would love to have more power. and tuning is not unusal, 600-800 hp. I would not mind them having larger standard engines. But all I see is Cummins got max 600 hp or there bout, for trucks, and there nust be a reason why they do not bother developing more powerful engines. The technology is there for sure, and if needed they get help from a Euro manufacturer. @st-ex8506

this aggressive attidude of you and yours, does not solve anything, just keep on blowing up millitary budgets.Putin belives in what he does, the damage has already happened in ukraine, Things are what they are, also with good help of western leaders and their lack of being able to make deals where both sides have to give and take. Bringing up sad details that is part of wars in general, does not help (other than provoke) Like Ptuin and his ideas or not, one have to come to a deal to end the suffering in Ukraine asap. Beliving one can crush russia, avoid a ww3, keep on sending weapons and money into a bottomless pit, push them out for good, is extremely naive to put it mildly. One can send 500 billion to Ukraine, and move the frontline a mile longer east or whatever, but in the end the conflict will be frozen somewhere where it is today, and a no man zone created.

Yes, more ideal to go deeper into it visit a couple of people/families, following the over several days. On the other hand Peter visit so many people and places, not always easy to go deep. Now he found this guide, and they went around, it is what it is, it gives a superficial view, but it's better than nothing. Now viewers that got interested in the country can search for more info, videos that goes deeper, for selfstudy. To someone not particualr interested in the country and everyday life of average people, to them this general overview might be just enough

There is a different approach for sure, new vs established manufacturers. 'Complex' is the key word, together with 'design', when it comes to make the customers come back for a new car as often as possible, at least for the established German brands. Myself, I see getting from A to B as a pretty simple and basic thing, no need to make it more complex and expencive than needed, so I'm just sticking to my 90's 'everlasting' uncomplex car, without 200 computers on board) Less complexity, less worries. One the other hand, it's great that the public in general are willing to spend their money on new cars, for the enviroment, the traffic saftey, and naturally for keeping lots of people at work.

Denmark has put plenty of billions into the island, built up cities, infrastructure, healthcare, schools, got fishing and seafood industries going, making the standard of living not too far behind mainland Denmark. But sure, always room for more, improvement. with the ice reduced, more possibilities for reaching the rich mineral resources and this buisness is just in the very beginning a of now, and is what a future independant Greenland like to live off in addition to seafood export

Hitler had as a goal being Emperor of all of Europe, in a time when no countries had nuclear and could destroy each other in minutes with the push of buttons. Russia took back Crimea as a revenge towards Ukraine, them not wanting to be friends anymore, rather being friends with EU/US. Putin has one big fear, the EU/US helping some too 'western friendly' opponents of his to take power from him and the ruling elite in Russia. He has no big ideas about being 'Emperor of Europe', like a Hitler, he got more than enough keeping on to power at home. No one wants war, but there is a arms race going on with NATO, Russia, China that no one actually wants, but there is a fear on all sides. Anyway, we need NATO, but the ongoing arms race, costing trillions, is sad.

@harm7602vicount-Visconti There is a former foregin minister of Russia, in the 90's, that are interviewed now and then in US TV channels, and he is living in the US for many years now. many will call him 'biased', but anyway he is able to give some good insight in the mindset of Soviet and Russian leadership through the years, as he was a part of it. One typical thing he pointed out was that there was a general fear among the ministers and advicers of the leader, now Putin, to tell all the actual facts what's going on out there. They more wanted to tell what they expected the leader wanted to hear. And as a former KGB agent Putin was kind of 'I know it all the best', and not so much listened to his advicers, that actually had facts from the field. One speculated if it actually could be that Putin was convinced to a degree that it was nazies governing Ukraine, that their army was weak and would surrender after some few days, the president run away abrioad, while the people would belcome being liberated by the Russians, as this was what his adviceres think he wanted the most to hear. Regarding NATO vs Putin on one hand feared them supporting a coup but on the other hand also 'enjoyed' them pushing up to the russian borders as he could use NATO as an excuse for the bad economic situation among russians in general. This vs the fact that Russia is among the richest nations in the world when it comes to natural resources, and people should have quite some higher standard of living if not most of the money went into the pockets of a small elite. 'NATO is threathing Russia very much, and are just waiting for a chance to invade us like Hitler in ww2, we are forced to spend enorumous amounts of our country's money on weapons, so this is why you the people, must accept living a simple life. But not worry, your strong leader for life will protect you from evil NATO'

We don't know for sure, but likely there are some neighbours, relative coming to the village now and then, take care graves, and possible have a talk to him, bring some groceries maybe. And he travels in to town now and then, I guess some people will wonder if not see him for a longer periode of time. Relatively few people in these regions, there is a certain idea about which houses are inhabitated and not, who is who I guess. In a big city I think there is bigger risk for someone being ill / dead in the appartment for weeks without anyone to notice, if no Close friends or relatives. Some people in the large cities can live for decades there without knowing the neighbours. People tend to more mind their own business in the city, to a larger extend than in the country side. Just my teory. Anyway, at least hope someone see him now and then.

Not quite sure what you mean. All tuning had to be done while it was in the truck, with the truck running on the dyno. They got it tuned to 950 hp, as the new owner wished. Later it was removed and put on the stand, to be started just to see everything was working and possibe to get it started once out of the truck. Regarding the tuning they run it to 850 first, checked if it would take it, not exploded, some parts missing, had to be carefull, checked things, adjusted, then continued further to the power wished.

We understand that Denmark nowadays is not the 'owner', or a possible 'seller', but just a rich uncle giving aid to the island, getting nothing back than mostly complaints why they don't give more) Maybe it's not a totally crazy idea to sit down and at least gently concider the idea of maybe, just maybe 'IF', letting someone else take over the role as rich uncle, if they so much want it, and naturally, if Greenland self agrees) Anyway, I guess the artic region is just getting a more and more important Place for the super powers to 'smash' together in the future. One can laugh of Trumps ideas now, but one never know in 20-30, 50 years, the situation up there

Ah, okay, I understand, you first of a all have a enviromental aspect regarding using and maintaining older equipment. Your statement make sense and I fully agree with the enviromental issues regarding the humans seems to be using more and more of the natural resources, making new things all the time to replace things that often canlast longer. I too like to use my things for a long time, I not often by new things. It is the society, the people in general, that pushes this development, to harvest more and more from mother earth. Manufactures like Scania just tries to help fill the ever rising need for transportation, and now lately demand for eletric vehicles. Yes, I agree, and many others, regarding the issues with production of batteries. Even if it at the moment does not look so goode nviromentally, hopefully one can solve and improve issues. It is a big subject. @MaisonShiraz77

My sister's, that's my younger sister, the one in the middle, not the oldest; her neighbor, the one at the far end of the street, west side, had a grand-uncle (on the father's side from up in Vermont) who's friend, not best friend but someone he just bumped into at the supermarked once in a while, especially at Wedenday's after 16:00, the one with a brown/black dog sometimes seen limping on the right foot; voted republican and once spoke with a russian tourist outside Mcdonalds. but that was back in '90-93. It never came out, and investigations were avoided.

Dating sites can be difficult, much scam out there, easy to vaste much time and money. Better option to stay in places where Russian naturally are, like Thailand or some other country, for holliday, work, meet someone eye to eye. Maybe take some time to find potential wife, but get to know russians in general, some can give advice and/or now some woman. Avoid large age difference, avoid 'photo models'. You being a foreginer and speaking english can make 'photo models' curious, want to talk, but do not need to mean they look for a relationship with a foreginer. A serious woman will not ask her foregin friend for help with money to travel meet him somewhere or such, but ask her family for help if needed. Good luck

Those 6000 usd quickly disapears if needing to change x broken electronic modules a year. Many truckers prefare some older trucks, 'analog trucks', that uses more fuel, but are simpler put togehter, less stuff that can break. The big fleet owners already use modern streamlined trucks, with the latest engine tech. Yes, many of them might are more basic than a Scania, but the big sleeper is more important than electroinc stuff and just flip a switch to change gear. Yes, a Euro truck could be fine for local transport in the US, around town or around state, away 3-4 days at the tme, not 3-4 weeks as many are. Stop with this stupid ideas Euro trucks are 'light years ahead'. The Us would been full of euro trucks a long time ago if that was the case. The big truck owners do not care about chromed piperacks, but profit. The US is the largst economy of the world, if very much depends on efficient transport of goods on the road. @sinisatrlin840

'Hire' a 20 year old loner kid, bullied at school, low self esteem, for such an 'important ' task, makes no common sense at all. 'Hey, yeah, I can borrow my dad's rifle, grab a ladder at home depot, and get there in my Hyundai Sonata. I had some noise in the driveshaft, but I got over a second hand drive shaft in god shape that was installed 2 days ago, I can promise I will get there in time! If not I'll have my mam come pick me up!' Yeah right.

Sorry to hear. Somebody, from Bulgaria, wrote about Bulgaria that people where great, and the country got big potential economically, but curruption in general in the Whole society keeps the development back, from low level to top level. When asked, all people did say corruption is a bad thing, but when people had the chance to gain something for the NeXT day by small corruption, they usually did. they where just thinking about themselves, and the NeXT day, not thinking : 'what I do now is not good for the country in the long term, even it's a small thing, and will keep us back as a country'.

It's not the age/number of years that counts, but the km's/miles driven. If just doing a small or medium driving distance a year, sure one can own the truck longer if one wish without any bigger service costs, and don't mind older technology. Most long distance trucks get driven much every year, and the companies, owners often have put a certain distance when they generally want to trade in the truck for a newer model. And many can afford to keep themselves with newer trucks, so they do it. There comes a point when the servcie costs starts to rise more than the companies wish for, and they want a newer one with better milage, better tehnology, and a newer truck also helps attracting the better drivers in a sharp competiton. Many trucks get exported after less than 10 years in Europe, to countries with lower labors cost (less problem to keep servie a loder truck), less strict emissions rules and so, and continue their life for many more years

@northdakotaham1752 Your family left Norway recently, like 20-30 years ago?) Since your name state North Dakota I will guess we rather talk 100+ years ago during quite different conditions ? Anyway, there are always some citizens that are behind economically, and that will complain, for less or more good reasons. And it's naturally allowed to complain, but the situation described above is not the standard. Sure, have been price hikes in Norway too the last few years, like in the US and most countries, but generally Norwegians are well off compared to most of Europe. Families of those not leaving Norway for America have generally made it fine) Sure, there are exceptions, like in any country
1
-
@northdakotaham1752 I see. First of all it's good there are no regrets your forefather left Norway, and his family likely have been thriving welll in the new place. And there should be no regrets naturally to the hundreds of thousands norwegians seeking better opportunities in the US. Norway got relativley overpopulated in a period from 1850's and forward, much due to better medicine, more children surviveing, but aviable jobs and farmland did not grow in a similar pace, so there was better opportunities other places to many people. Average standard of living Norway was behind the average of the US for many years after your forefather left, but from 1960's, 1970, it did catch up and since have kept rising, but last 10-20 years been flattening out. No secret that discovery of oil in 1960's was a big change to the economy, but Norway would been more into other businesses and fine off today too, without the oil. the government keeps a strick control of money spending, but no doubt a conciderable amount of oil money have trickled down to all layers of the population through pensions and salaries. (but someone always will wish more, even they are fine off already, and others defently should had gotten a bit more) Many neighbourhoods have been changed a lot the last decades, old replaced wit modern building complexes. Some neighbourhoods have stayed similar looking for years regarding relatively small houses and older appartments. What was neighbourhoods to 'ordinary workers' some years ago now often are mostly low cost housing to refugees and locals that for different reasons are in the lower end regarding income. And there is also the many cases where norwegians prefare kind of a frugal life, especially in the countryside, and are just okay with living in a small house, have an older car, but got a million on the bank account that has been building up through the years) The original comment you replayed to did describe what a economical situation can look like to someone in a low income household in these days of strong inflation. It's true, and sad, but it is not representative to the average norwegian household even most feel the inflation, and some have taken too much loans during a period with low rates. Typically the generation of Norwegians that where born up until the 1930's where the last ones to be born into 'hardship', in families living pretty basic lives with ittle money like on a small farm in the countryside. There are naturally, sadly, people that are less well off in Norway even if the state is rich in general, but there is nothing like what one can see in some places like in the US with people living in run-down shacks or on the streets. My point is, the family of your great grandfather, most likely a hardworking and industrious person doing what he did seeking new opportunities, would most likely been just fine off economically today in Norway, and out of the lower income housing neighbourhoods years ago, but it would taken a couple of generations longer to get to that point) This said, Norway is have by no means an perfect economy and system, there are always room for improvements, some people will always be at the lower end of income, and some will never be happy, but in general most people have no real reason to complain about economy even if standard of living can swing a bit with inflation, rates up and down, wage increases delayed

Russia now sending in 1960's tanks and trucks, been in storage for decades, and little to no experienced reservists to replace and ad to the elite troops that now are tired. Ukraine troops are better trained, better dressed, better food, much more motivated. Hard to see any big changes on the russian side so far into the war, with so much of their modern weapons already used, and tens of thousands elite troops wounded, killed, deserted, sent home

Putin do not wish any escalating war, he want an end to the unrest in eastern Ukraine, right up on his border that has been going on for 8 years. Ukraine, Nato, EU, US, all crying out loud now, but they were not able to stop it in all those years, now Putin had enough and will fix it himself. Those eastern regions were already gone forever after 2014, they were majorly ethnical russians and had no wish to join the 'New Ukraine'. Had the Ukraine leadersip been more wise they could have made a deal years ago, and saved thousands of lives

Poor little Russia, being threatened by their neighbour in the west, the super power of Ukraine, run by nazies, and they even take drugs, and even worse, they drink, smoke and told bad words to their teachers at school, and and...they are bolsheviks, and and...fascists, and racist and...don't remember, but much more..so bad, oh so bad. What a terrible situation to Dear Leader of Kreml, tens of millions of russians could be killed anytime, and the rest of the population could be forced to drink, and take drugs and start becoming nazies, against their will! Dear Leader had to act, and fast, so many nazies, they are everywhere, in the air, in the fields, in the ocean, under the bed. But not fear, Dear Leader will save you!

These eastern parts of the country is the most important industrial areas of Ukraine, lots of coal, iron, oil, gas. High economically importance. a majority of the people wanted to be a part of Ukraine, shows polls before the war. The new Ukrainian governments after 2014 have done some mistakes, should come to better agreements and understanding with the people of eastern Ukraine, which many are of russian etinc. But I think nomatter if the Ukrainian government had come to good agreements with the people in the east, Putin would anyway pushed on and fed the rebel minority of the region with weapons to create problems and unrest. This both as an revenge for the Ukrainians not wanting to be his freinds anymore, and to create a buffer zone next to Crimea and the millitary base. Ptuin and the Russians in general do not care about the russians in Ukraine, does not matter to them if they live or are dead, they are counted as 'low level russians'

Hitler is not relevant. Very few dictators dies like Hitler, and suddeny everything is over, that's the problem. Most dictator stays along for a long time, they have time to find someone following them, and they often represent countries of millions of people, and there is weapons involved. This means one are forced to have a relation to them, live with them as best one can, like them or not, and try follow their steps. They and the problems they represent will not go away if one just put them behind a curtain of silence....This idea of just ignoring them fully, and 'the problem will disapear, 'they will die the same way' is pretty naive.

'The world' also consist of others than 'the west'. The west have done their best to isolate him, while others have a relation with Russia, largely because of economical factors. 'Time' is the only realistic soultion to the Putin issue. No one lives forever. Many dreams about a sudden collapse of the russian economy in near future, but not very realistic. Regarding the war, realistically the best one can hope for, in the short to medium long term, as long as Putin is around, is the conflict gets frozen at about the frontline that have been present for the last year+. Say the west sends x5 more weapons, and the russians get pushed largely out. They will just take a break, and come back again and agian, as long as they got enough money and people to send, which do not seem to be near empty yet. Is it worth it to the western population and economies? This said, I would gladly see Putin gone, but one have to be realistic, not live in a dreamworld. This was possible not the solution to the answer, you got another point of view, and I am automatically 'a liar'. That's fine. Cheers @Theyrewrong827

@deanoc8551 Common sense is to do certain adjustments both regarding the marketing and product itself, all depending on the specific markets one are aiming at, in order to potentially get more attention and sales. It's all good that people in UK and elsewhere in Europe have their clear preferences about how a Scania and other Euro brands should look, spec'd and potentially styled. Put this does not really help Scania regarding a market that got some rather different preferences regarding trucks. This Scania in the US is a show truck, an 'attention getter', trying to get the brand name better known, and Bruce is of the opinion adding some 'local styling' to it helps in getting even more attention at shows, getting more people over being expose to the brand name there on the front of this truck. Yeah, owners of Amerian trucks in both the US and Uk does agree on theose trucks looks the best the American way) Most potential owners of a Scania in the US will be fleet owners, how is into efficiency, fuel economy first of all, and will not spend much money towards chrome in the end. But chrome draws people at shows)

Well, it was an accident, with both the lady and the victims being at the wrong place at the wrong time. She was drunk, not knowing what she was about, and the viticms walked out in front of a car, maybe in the dark, taking it for granted the car would stop. One just never know about drivers, one should take it for granted that the ars will NOT stop/see you, especially in the dark, be extremely careful as and pedestrian. No,not blaming the victims

Your initial statement 'everything in America is from Europe, Americans copy' and bla bla makes the rest of your message kind nothing to take too serious) But you rise some good points also. You are maybe a young person? It's alright. What's important to a big part of the american companies and truckers is the large sleepers. They are often on the road for several weeks at the time, and enjoy the comfort of a big living space. The most practial driver cabs for those big sleepers are the traditional nose trucks, or 'conventials' as they say, where the engine is pushed up front and the cab is sitting not too high from the ground for easy going in and out, and walking into the sleeper. The long nose trucks are no issue driving on the big highways, and the length of the truck it self is not a part of the maxlength allowed, only the length of the trailer counts. When the front axle is way up front, the driver is not sitting on top of it, that makes the cab move around less (without adding advanced damperes and such) There are minuses as more noise from the engines, more difficult to get around in narrow city streets and such, but they can live worth it as the big sleeper is such a good advatage. Euro trucks, cab overs, is better for driving around in the cities. But cab overs are not just not so popular in the US. They got the trucks they like, and if many enough want's other kinds of trucks too, like Eruo cab overs, they will get it. Let's not worry about the americans and their trucks, they get the job done)

Biden is no-electable so they don't care too much about him. There is no need to dig up dirt about Biden, he have already thrown it all out there regarding how he held back the money until the Ukrainian prosecutor was fired. When Trump became president, his sons stopped doing affairs abroad, regarding possible conflicts of interest, while when Biden became VP, his sons STARTED doing business abroad) Anyway, Giuliani first of all have an interest in finding out how it all started, the 'russian' story, on behalf of his client. The Democrats sent people out all over the world, also Ukraine, during 2016 campaign to try find something on Trump

there are some poorer countries in Eastern, south eastern europe, especially, where there are quite many like this man. He have chosen to live where he does, but it's not that far away from neighbours, town. He got a small pension, and some people, a social worker, he meet from time to time. I would say most get offered some sort of help/care, if they wish. What is offered might not always be that much, especially in some poorer areas

@johndoe5432 Yeah, it's a constructed country, done by Sovjet after WW2, taking some part of Romania. Russia would do whatever to stop the country going towards Romania, EU. the lost Ukraine, except some eastern regions. Still got Belarus and Moldova as their 'friends' on the border up against EU/Nato. Hopefully, when milleniums take over, born 90's, later than 2000, and all People in leadership gone that grow up during Sovjet times, things will change for the better

Russian politics and leadership is a sad clown show. It's the bad guys that have highjaked to power, money and guns, and under them the ordinary population who got as good as nothing to say. The core issue is money and power, in some few hands. The elite have taken enormous amounts of money from the state and people, and are extremluy afraid of being pushed off the top of the tower. Thi war, I think it it's mainly about keepin in power, and continue having access to unlimited money. Some western supported political revolution in Russia would be a disaster for the current people with power and the money. They do not want the russian people getting same ideas as the ukrainians, throw out their leaders of their places. 'The Ukrainians are nazies and your enimies, do not copy them, they will ruin Russia and all of you, so we go to war to protect you, the russian people from the disaster'

The west is already joining with supplies of equipment. Putin's fear is the Russian people, and if many enough of them should turn against him. He wanted to keep this a small 'special quick stunt', using troops from poor remote areas in Sibiria, to not raise too much attention among the 'high end russians', the slavs, in the main populated areas around Moscow, St Petersburg. Now that he is running out of 'less worth asians' and prisoners to send into ukraine, he announced a mobilisation, and suddenly things starts to also involve slavic russians to a much larger degree. The ukrainians will never give up. How popular will it be among the russian middle class to keep sending their men into the meat grinder, trying keep control of invaded areas under constant pressure, for months, years. There is a lot of propaganda from both sides, I do not pay much attention. The truth is somewhere inbetween. It will be no easy fight coming months, for any of the parties. Whatever happens, the russians will say 'it was our plan from the start'

@marcusdamberger Here in Europe, I would say at least Western Europe, it would be very hard for a company to get good drivers if they offered them trucks with the old fasion manual transmission with a long gear stick, as is much in use in the US. Not that the drivers can not use a old style manual, but for every day work they will wish the more comfort a automatic gives. The truking business is often stressfull and tiresome for drivers as it is, then all comfort one can get is welcomed. Some drivers that have a passion for trucks often have a older truck in their garage as a hobby, a show truck, where they can feel the 'coolness' of driving a old school manual. But for every day work and earning money, no manual) I guess the trucking industry and customers in the US is quite more conservative than in Europe. ' I've always used a manual, it works, why should I change?' But there is maybe also the cost factor, a old style manual transmission is a bit cheaper, and possible cheaper to maintain. As mention before, I think the larger fleet owners do buy losts of autotice transmissions in the US, while smaller comanies and owner operators are the more conservative.

The romans never conquered the anglo saxon / germanic tribes in their home regions, they where too tough. But the Romans managed to conquer the Brits. Some Anglo saxons where invited to England by the Brits after the Romans had left, to help defend against Scots, Pics, and given some land to settle. Later on they helped themselves to more land, and a flow of germanic people from the mainland kept coming, in need of new land to settle on. So they did not only conquered the place millitary, but in addition had lots of ther own people filling up the land. The romans wherea millitary power, had not a flow of their own people coming in from Italy to settle all over England, outnumbering the locals. The romans still achived to colonize England for over 400 years, until the Roman empire was weakend all over in general, and faded away.

There has been no NATO expansion since 2004 towards the east. That's 18 years ago. Sweden and Finland wanting to join happened after the start of Putins war, but he have counted them 'as good as Nato' all the time anyway. Nato is just one of the excuses Putin use telling his story to his people. (Naizes that are ready to invade Russia and kill millions, just like in ww2, and Putin is the only one that can save them) The root cause is Putin and his elite that got in control, have all power of the county's resources and enjoys luxuary lifes while most of the people live poorly, are getting more and more nervous that their lives on the top of the tower is threatened. Ukrainians turning to the west. Russians getting same ideas could mean a disaster to Putin and his guys in control, and their billions of dollars. Putin got nervous and sent his army on a raid into Ukraine, both to teach them a lesson 'not wanting to be friends with me anymore', and convince the Russian audience that the Ukrainians are 'nazies, do not do like them, they are not your friends'

One can wonder what the builders, and owners, were thinking back then; 'this manison will stand tall for centuries to come, like a old Scotish castle', or 'New York is in a big development, let's cross our fingers the mansion will stand fora a couple of decades at least' The owners did have masnions outide the city too, that they maybe gave higher odds for standing tall longer than their 'millionare row show-off mansions'? Feels these manisons were first of all 'installations', monuments', like movie stages put up to satisfy the owners strong urge showing up their wealth there and then, 'keep up with the Joneses',and owners didn't worry too much about possible longivity of their 'installations'. 'Build it, use it, throw it away when it has done it's job' kind of attitude. Most of these craftsmen might not think too much about longivity of their work in a mansion, they did the job, got paid, and moved on to next project.

@community1949 They got the chance to arrest a US citizen, and took it. A potential important negotiation card, as mentioned. Naturally, when kept healthy and in ok condition. that means not put in any work camp, but more like a 'hotel'. I think what really happened is that Otto got a mental break down, told to put in a working camp for 15 years, attempted to take his own life. But it went wrong and he ended up a 'vegetable' after lack of oxygen for longer periode. The North Koreans tried to have him 'come back' with some substances and treatments, but did realise there was nothing they could do, no more any value as a negation card, better to let go and get him out alive. Even if he got out earlier, it wouldn't brought him back.

US 'long nose trucks' imported to Europe are hobby trucks / show trucks, 95%+ of them not used in daily work. In addition to length issues, drivers comfort, noise level, transmission system, and so on, are not up to standard what European truckers are used to and wish for. Yes, large sleepers are great, nobody would mind more space, but there are too many issues with the US trucks. Euro trucks are not sold in the Us because of import difficulties, and US truckers arein love with hooded trucks and their big sleepers.

Time is money, until one tip over a point and it's not. Use a lot of extra fuel, and in the end the driver have to sit and wait for a new load, arriving too early and so on. This has to do with total economics, save a couple of minutes in a long hill vs raised costs with a larger engine for the 98% of easy terrain. Going from 25 mph to 65 mph is fantacy. In reality if 25 mph with 450 hp, might be 35 mph with 700 hp diesel engines. sure, some trucks, drivinga lot in hilly terrain would been better of with some more hp. There is no economic in setting up a truck for going up double speed a few hills, less than 1 % of total distance. anyway, What I want to say, if there was a demand of a certain amount for more powerful engines, cummins and the other suppliers would have no problem coming with their engine at 7-800 hp like in Europe. In general electric trucks will be more efficient than diesel, but there is

Starts out on the psychological level, boredom, want to hang out with the cool guys, depression, wanting to escape reality, and so on. But then the body starts taking control, one feel physical sick if not getting it. In general, from what I understand.I've never thouched anything of this. Was told from a small kid that 'drugs will make you drop dead, immidently' Not been any easy access to drug anyway where I have been in life, so no real issue. Such a overwhelming problem in many loations, it's really sad to see

Yes, the Peterbilt looks great, a classic. It's techincally simpler, potentially less that can break than the Scania, but overall not at the quality level of the Scania. There are quite a few issues with some newer US engines regarding electronics, components involved lowering emissions. Some truck owner use older, overhauled engines, and have more dependable trucks. What I can say, if you where a trucker driver as a proffesion, and operating newer European trucks for years, you would likely NOT picked the Peterbilt as you daily ride. You would been too used to better drive comfort, less noise, easier gear change, easier getting around, turning, and concluded the Peterbilt would be your choice for the weekend shows, and the Scania for the daily job.

You're a 22 year old, throwing around smilies as a 14 year old girl, sitting there trying to bragg about your 'passive income', how genious you are, while others are poor and stupid. Sorry, but you express your self like a total fool. you're kind of young, so that's kind of forgiving. You can manage the computer, but don't got much of social intelligence (Oh yeah, you just can't stop yourself from giving a replay with lots of silly smiling faces, continue to laugh about how silly everyone are, and you are so extremly smart, just wait and see;) You should learn to be more humble, kid. 'Damn easy come, damn easy go'. What you not get is that these ranchers do what they do as it is their #1 chosen and prefared way of life. Money is secondary to them, they are okay with food on the table and a roof over their head, they don't need a Ferrari, or a yacht, it won't ad any value to their lives.

Agreed with the type of woman, yes passive. This big baby of a man would possible been better off with a bit stricter wife. She is quiet and possible kind enough, takes care of children and the house without saying too much, and many men like it that way. And many men do not have an option, do not get accepted by more 'active' women. They have found eachother and created a family, and likely got no special probems in their marriage apart from the usual. I would say it's not the wife who is the big issue here, she is fully able to behave, but the man himself. He got issues, anger problems. She knows him and his temper well, an likely stays calm partly in order not to further escalate the situation. Many women would see this fairly quickly and shy away after a few dates. This wife is possible the best he could hope for. I notice you trying to excuse the man's behavior, more put it on the wife, but there is little excuse, he takes it way too far, no matter what. Yes, the man might be tired, it's hot, stressed, many hours in the car, noicy impatient kids in the back. In general, let's try to relax, be logical, be reasonable, be safe, and have fun.

Trump like to make 'strong statements', to make a point, to get attention. Of course, he might naturally see a direct ownership of the plae as number 1, but it's like with Us courtcases where they go out strong saying 'my client burned himself on your coffee, we demand 1 billion dollar' And then they are happy with 10 million in the end) In practical, where he wants to go is likely having a closer coperation with Greenland, directly with the locals, wanting to make the Us more present there, first of all via US companies doing projects, and in that way trying to better keep Chinese companies/influence out, than he thinks Denmark is able to

There are much fraud out there, no doubt about it. Much of it is easy to chek out, if one bother, like with the professor you mention, and Lazar's fake degrees and such. But I would say that even if a person is 'messy' when it comes to his/hers private life and doing, it does not automatically have to mean that 'everything' around them are messy or fake. People are just not either all 'black or white', 100% good or 100% no good, but we are all somewhere in between. Lazar got nothing big to gain about telling his story, no Hollywood fame, no money to speak about, he is no millionare, rather the opposite; being seen on as a fraud by most of the public (which he naturally was aware of from the start) He could easily made up a very detailed script from the start and stuck 100% to that, always, in order to seem more reliable and maybe got more fame and money, if he did think that was a possibility. He should rather be quiet about whatever he think he saw, as he got no evidence. The problem is that no one can prove him wrong) As with God. Some belive, others don't. No one can actually prove anything. Lazar have a 'entertaining' story, no matter if one belive or not. We will likely never know if what he said is true or not. And it's not important. I neither conclude what Lazar says is true, and I do not conclude what he says is false, as we do not know. Bob Lazar a complete fraud or not, I only conclude that there likely are many things concerning the Earth and Space that we do not know and can not understand with our current human brains and knowledge. Better let if be like that, put our brains to rest and relax on the porch, enjoy lifeat the moment. The Earth may explode tomorrow. we just don't know.

Some ideas where gentle, as people living and working together, sharing things evenly. Fine on paper, and maybe possible in some small communities, but sadly difficult in real life when concerning countries with millions of people. One of the bigger problems with sovjet communism is it treated all people (without the few in the leadership) to be the same, like robots. Everyone to have their 325g of bread, use the same shoes, clothes, cars and so on. All people are different, and have some different needs and interests. It all boiled down to a lot of people wanting a bit more and/or different than they were offered, and corruption blossomed to extremes. The corruption attitude is settled deep in large groups of the population in many of these countries still as of today, and are keeping the progress back, still for generations

Interesting to hear quite a few Norwegian carpenters still present in NYC in the 80's. I'm living in a region of Norway where quite a few people worked as carpenters in NYC, on and off for periods, and many prefered to live in Brooklyn while over there) The standard of living for average workers where higher in the US than Norway up through the 50's and 60's, but around 1970 industry and wages picked up in Norway, and many of those who worked in NYC settled permanetly back home, especially among those who had small children. Some of these carpenters and their wives filled up shipping containers with US furniture, wallpapers, all sort of interior products for use in their new house to be constructed in Norway, often according to US floor plans and design. And naturally many brough their US cars back home, and they are still used now and then by new younger owners. Many of their children where born in the US, now living in Norway for decades but still got their US passport, and some even speaks with an American accent

@tijmen6947 You are joking, right? Lots US truckers having wet dreams about euro cabovers, but their government says 'no, you will only be allowed to drive hooded trucks with chromed stacks, it's the law' ? Okay, maybe some foregin truckers. The US government, just like the governments of for example EU, European countries, has set their technical standards for vehicles like trucks and cars. Then it's for the different brands that wants to sell on the US, and EU, markets, to make vehicles fullfilling those standards, and also with a design that the different market's customers prefer. To make it on the US market, for the last decades, one got to have hooded cabs with big sleepers , which is wht the majority of Us/Canadian customers prefer, it's their culture. This in practical means a truck brnd needs to design models specifically for the North American market. Volvo VNL is not an americanized 'Euro Volvo', it is based on White Trucks'' that Volvo purchased about 1980, but later added 'euro tech and design' into it. Scania did not find a US brand for sale, for a 'flying start', and have not done an effort since the 80s to go for the US market, it's very strong competition, building a hooded US style truck, as they have focused at markets they have seen more profit. Both US and EU like to see vehicles being manufatured in their countries, and have more or less tariffs for foregin vehicles. This said, I do not mind Scania giving the Us market a try again, doing the job of getting trucks allowed on that market. Things have changed, many foregin drivers now in the Us, that are used to euro style cabovers.

@jaynoorzad Ukraine has it's internal problems concerning treatment of minority groups, like so many other countires around the world. And it's not good naturally, but no country is perfect. Even not if daily life for a russian minority in east Ukraine was not as perfect as it could had been, there was no killing, hunger It all changed when Dear Leader of Kreml decided to get involved in his neighbour country, where he had no business to put his nose, and start giving weapons to small groups that wanted to break out of Ukraine. Then it all start escalating until today with tens of thousands killed and leveling Eastern Ukraine to the ground. Of course the Ukrainians could not sit quiet look at the invaders, nor would any country attached. The people of Russian etnic in Eastern Ukraine going from a relative peacefull life, to a situation with tens of thousands of them killed and forced away from their homes, and their part of the country crushed to ruins. Sure they are very thankful for this and their lives so much better than before. All thanks to a simple former street bully, now Dear Leader of Kreml (I'm done here. Good luck)

@macjonte The US regulations are not in general much more or less stricter than the EU regulations, but main thing is they are different to a degree that's it's the most economical the manufacturer implement those different details in the production, at an early point. Main issue is the emissions. EU and Scania emissions standard is possible even higher than the US standard, but they are set up a bit different. Otherwise many smaller details as the dashboard 'air buttons', setup and placement of lights and so on. All is achiveable thecnically to Scania, but we will be talking about a seperate production line, or plant, for trucks for the north Amerian market, and there are conciderable investments involved, making them wanting to see a certain market/sale potential first. To keep prices down, the optimum would be setting up a plant in the US

Vintage mindset by Putin, and many of his generation in the leadership. Still feeling living in the victory glory after ww2, living in the past. Putin knows that germans of today are not going to raid Russia. But it is important for him, in order to raise his chance of staying in power for life, that the majority of the russian people are being fed the information that millions of germans, nazies, is standing ready to invade anytime and kill millions. And Putin is the only strong leader that can save his people from this big threath. What a clown show. Germany have moved on the 80 last years, minding their own business and have no need to invade anyone. Russia will be a better place when Putin and the soviet born and bred men ruling the country one day are gone, and younger modern people take over, someone that have no relation to soviet times. Anyway, keep on hiding under the bed, looking out for nazies and 'the germans'. Have fun.

It's just not part of their traditions, genes. They have always been nomads, not stayed for any longer time in one location. One make it nice enough within one's living space, but what's on the outside is some place they will leave soon anyway. girls married and pregnant at 13-15 years, no education, generation after generation, a bad circle. If one only could take the girls out of the families before that age, and got them to school and college, given them some other options in life than 20 years and 4 children, it could have helped the group to a better life. but naturally, it's a inhumane thing to take children out of the families.

Sad to the generation, or type, of customer that want a car for decades (me included) Not that sad for newer generation, other types, of customers, that put design and technology as number one, and want to replace their cars within 5-10 years for something modern, no matter what. ' Why should we continue engage in building a transmission that last for 25 years, when our main clinets, the new-car buyers, mainly get rid of their car in 5-10 years? Why should we continue to please 7'th hand owners in 3'rd world countries with over engineered parts, what's in it for us?' That's maybe some of the questions the economists started asking the engineers. That said, I stick to my 1995 124 300 diesel

It feels you draw your conclusion out of comparing a 'high speed' big city environment (which you might be closest to your self) vs this slow pace rural eastern europe environment. I think in general it's more a big city vs country side issue rather than west vs east. All countries and cultures got the whole specter of personalities among it's population. There is a big difference between rich and poor in these ex-USSSR countries, you got more humble laid back people in the country side, living a calm life, and less materialistic life. In the bigger cities of eastern europe you got more people fighting to climb the social ladder. My impression of Eastern Europe people in general is that they can be pretty rude to fellow country men, that are strangers (for example aggressive driving in the cities), and are seen as competition in work life, in general fighting for getting a better life for one self and ones family. 'One man's death, another man's bread'. On the other hand they can be very kind to their close ones, friends. Relative poor countries, more fighting about money. These village people are more laid back, humble , welcoming. But one can find that in the west also. I also want to say that life in a small ex-USSSR ctown, village seems to be like 30-40 years back in time from what we in western europe are used to, a time when one had more time for family and friends. Comparing my place in western europe to eastern europe people, I will not say they are better people. I would say equal.

just to think about we sent this bad dude that messed with several women, and did write off stuff at his tax report more than once!, to meet and deal with all the very nice guys out there, EU leadership, Mexico, Putin, Kim of Korea, Xi of China, Saudi Princes, is extremely sad and shocking. These countries of the world come up with the nicest guys and leadership avaiable, choir boys, to represent them, but we come up with a guy that is the type mothers warn their daughters about.

Trump : 'Look at that boy, what a great boy, his parents can be so proud of him! '
CNN fact checker : 'We have done an investigation and found the boy the President pointed at from the podium, his name is Doug, 8, and lives in Wuppash, Ohio. Our team spent 5 days in town and interviewed several of the neighborkids and their parents, and also several of his teachers and other students. Doug broke a window with a stone, at age 6.5, and spilled milk at the classroom floor 3 weeks ago, called the teacher a 'dork', yelled at his mother at several occasions the past 5 months. The conclusion is this is not 'a great boy'. Another lie from the President. A terrible lie'

He has been anti-Putin formany years, also before the arrest. Something that explains something? Well, Putin has become more and more of a dictator, have had laws changed and gotten more and more power, and being able to be sitting potenitially many more years, 15(?) As a 'strongman' he feels for showing off for his people now and then, to justify all the power he have gotten, to save them from outer threaths, the evil Nato, nacies in Ukraine, space invaders and so on.

I do not see the connection between doing the job as President, and how many or few models one have crossed path with in the past, 0 or 1000. A number of women circle around places where rich and famous men hang out, it's been the same for 1000's of years. Affairs is sad in a relation naturally, but it's a 'non issue' compared to the important issues a leader of the country is faced with, I want to see JOBS, violent gangs OUT, companies coming BACK, better ROADS! Yes, if it was my childrens Sunday school teacher one talked about, but it's not.

The swiss luxury watches are top notch, will last a lifetime with the normal maintenance and care i understand. I sometimes wonder how the many high end manufacturers can 'survive', year after year putting thousands of high end 'everlasting' pieces out on the market. Like with Patek, producing 50-60K pieces a year at tens and hundreds of thousands of USD, and there are waiting lists(?!) Mind blowing. Where do they all go? Do they mainly go to 'new customers', who just discovered and/or finally could afford a pieces, and who are just happy with owning 1 or 2 high end watches in their lifetime, or do they mainly 'pile up' with collectors who will just keep on buying new pieces as long as the money last? Well, anyway, I'm happy for the industry that they can keep on doing their amazing art, and some of them seemingly having an 'endless number' of customers waiting out there

@kubiyoshi2744 Still a lot of pickups in Europe too, but not as many as in the US alright. Yes, farmers, construction workers, but also quite many younger people thinking it's cool with US pickups. Some people got the need to haul things regarding their hobby, like horses, race cars, boats and so on, and like a rough vehicle like a pickup with a large engine. Newer Range Rover, Merc, BMW are big thicking cost bombs with hundreds of electronic black boxes, and not for everyone. Many Americans, also in towns, use a pickup as a second car, for hobbies, bring dirt bikes, snowmobiles, horses,

@johngarcia8827 Dear Mr Garcia, even if you or I 100% own a oil company, that does not mean that we can decide when the world are going green or not. We will just be offering the market a product, that the market can buy or not. The US and large part of the world has for several years already been going more and more green, with more and more eletric cars and so on. Fossil fuels will still be a importent part of the world's energy supply for many years to come, as going green will take many decades. Rockefeller family members that are into investments are of course not blind, and higly likely move more and more of their money into green sectors, as so many other smart business people. One put the money to where there is most profit. But one can have money in fossil fuels still, as it will be a okay business for some years to come. Anyway, Mr Garcia, choose to belive in what makes YOU more comfortable. If you more belive that the Rockefeller familyof today secretly controls the world, then we think that you defently should stick to that.

@mychaelleesly Hey, you know it all, of course, got it all sorted out. Anyway..you speak like humans are sitting with all the answeres, 'the truth'. Regarding the overall climate system of the Earth, the science is refering to an 'assumed truth', based on the knowledge humans got. The knowledge of humans regarding the Earth and universe, is very small, all thow we wish to belive we as good as 'knows it all'. Human activity has affected the climate , the question everyone fights about is to which degree, and there political stand points come in, among else.

@dennis_nl7587 Many would like to drive euro trucks, but so far euro manufacturers have not seen enough interest for them to do the large investments needed to prepare their euro trucks for the US market, it's regulations, set up dealer network, parts supply, assembly plant in the US to avoid import duties. Navistar / International, a American truck brand now is a sister company of Scania. they got dealers and shops all over the country, could potentially make it easier for Scania to eastablish and get started, if they decide to. Most american trucks in Europe are hobby vehicles, older models that is easier to import and make road legal. It's quite more difficult and expencive regarding newer trucks. In the US on can import cars and trucks older than 25 years, with less complications. Tha's why Bruce's own Scania's are the older models, from the 90's

@jamesgoode9246 Last couple of years it has been written more than before in Norwegian media regarding nuclear energy and thorium. The Hydro power potential is getting close to be fully developed in Norway and last 10 years quite a few large wind turbine parks have been put up onshore, which now have led to quite large public resistance, lots of people and ounties do not want to see more wind turbines being put up. This has been leading one to look more into other optional energy sources. Europe's largest disccovered concentration of rare earth minerals/metals is located not far away from Oslo , the capital, 'Fensfeltet'. Mixed with the minerals is large amiunts of Thorium , a local company has plans ready for taking use of the 'tailings', left overs, from mining the rare earth metals, making a concentrate selling it to future nuclear plants. It's pretty intersting seeing the development within Thorium nuclear plants the later years, how they can make them so compact, putting it in 40 foot shipping containers. Might see something being commercial within a not too distance future

The German brands are known to have outsourced a lot, for the last 50 years, parts production to a lot of specialized German brands like Bosch, Sachs, ZF, and so on. These are specialist in their fields. The issue is these suppliers have been instructed to lower the price, use cheaper materials. 'why install a windshield whiper motor that last for 15 years, when our customers are to replace the car within 5-6 years?' People who put longivity as number 1, have to option of Toyota, Lexus and such. Other wants cool design, power, many buttons, and care less about longivity.

We liberals got nothing, just nothing, no good candidates, no new stars, our party is at it's knees, let's admit it. All we can hope for is that we can come up with SOMEONE the day in 7 years the people might give us a new chance. In the meantime we can not do anything but to cry and complain about how bad everything is, and try finding words like 'Namibia' that the President says wrong, we are after all the people of books and education. Maybe Trump will say wrong the name of England, like Gingland or something, and we can make a big story of it a couple of days and feel a little bit more happy with our lives..buuut, until that day come around, just feeling sad. But hey, we still got our Russia story, it's still alive I guess..pssss, nooo, not so much action there either I guess. Ohh, what to do, please help, anyone? The Eskimoes...can we make a story there..'The eskimoes had secret meeting with Trump campaign, offered to help blow some cold wind down south, keeping many Hillary voters at home'..or something...naaahh..weel, okay lets try, it can be worth a try!

@ILoveGrilledCheese the USA is in practical 50 countries/states. Some states have large populations, others have small populations, often with large natural resources. The electoral system is about among else to even out the power a bit in Washington DC between the large populated states like California, New York and all the states with far less population. it's about not having the large states totally overrun all the smaller states. No system is perfect, but the electoral college is what the US have chosen and had all the time. Put on the very edge, say if Norway was a part of EU, and because of a small population they had just 3 members in the parliament, but you had x5 more natural resources than the whole EU combined, that everybody was dreaming about. 'Knock knock, hey Norway, we will like to inform you that we, the EU, today has decided in a vote 80 to 3 that you need to give us 80% of your wealth, as we think you don't need that much on your own'. The electoral college do not favor on party ahead of the other, just check the facts. In the last 112 years there have been 15 Rep and 14 Dem, and in 2024 it will like say 15 to 15.

Your last point is correct. It's an adverticement opportunity for Scania, and Bruce is their 'adverticement agent' in the US. Not just towards the US truckers, but the channels has viewers all over the world, in many markets where Scania already is established. It's very tricky to get a foregin truck, newer than 25 years, legal for the US roads. Basically the only way to do it, Bruce not being a bilionare himself, was to let Scania take care of everything. It's their demo truck, only allowed on US highways, 1-3 years before out, due to it's owned by the manufacturer and is for marketing purposes only. Bruce can transport his own things with it, but it can not be used for ordinary freigth, where one get paid

Wow..... 'Just raise prices on lumber and pay the workers'...This mill sells it's products in a highly competative market, where prices are set by supply and demand. They can certainly not 'just raise prices', they would gone bust immidantly, many years ago. They compete against among else much larger modern mills with a higher degree of automation. The owners have not had the capital to step up the mill to a higher degree of automation, but has kept afloat in the strong competition by having more manual labor, located in what used to be a relative low cost city, where workers could live okay on a 'none top level salary'. The later years rich city folks have moved in, pushed up the property prices and general cost of living in the city, and they are not interested in the town to expand, building out a larger sewage system in order to allow more housing, they are there for peace and quiet, the nature, vacation and permanent stay. Got nothing to do with the owner's private economy, most of his wealth are locked in the mill operation, machinery.

sitting next to this guy at an airplane, that suddenly had '40 zillion' fingers all over her, according to her, after they had eaten and had a normal conversation, was a 'once in a life time experience. She was a sales person, 100+ flights a year, for years in a periode bak in time. One will remember the special episode, but the details around the flight, what day, to and from, what meal, and suh details will fade through the years, especially when one travel a lot

I agree, if these trucks gets to the US, owners who likes to style their trucks will do it the way it appeals to americans, not so much the europeans way, even some might look at it for some inspiration. That said, I do not think Scania really is particular eager about the US market regarding their trucks. It's a difficult market to get into, large costs, and market is not so keen on cabovers. With the Scania owner purchasing International/Navistar a couple of years ago they obviously have some plans for the North American markets, but I think those plans mainly are putting Scania, and MAN, technology into Navistar trucks, with the convential cabs that the North American market is used to and like. Maybe they will 'sneak in' some Eruo cabs for vocational trucks, dump trucks, concrete trucks, where it can be an advantage with a short more compact truck, just like Paccar use some small DAF cabover cabs for particualr trucks. This coperation with Bruce's channel and 'dramas' hanging in the air like 'customize the truck the american way or not' and all the attention it gets, is good marketing for Scania, get their brand name mentionedin social media to viewers from different countries, no matter what becomes of the 'american market test' in the end

@ricin7501 Not that I personally would hang out with his guy no matter, I'm not so into drinking, party and such. But that aside, think about it...if you, or I, was active gangsters, would we wish to be on camera, exposing us to the whole world, showing where we live, showing our wife/family, showing pictures of our gangster buddies...?) No, exactly. Gangsters got enemies, lots of enemies, police, other gangsters. At once we did see some people with cameras in that restaurant, we would get the h*¤& out of there!) There are also other vidoes from the visit, if one search for 'bald and bankerupt' and sort by 'newest'. And it's enough just seeing and observing the wife for a bit, seems pretty alright. Anyway, it does not matter so much what we think, but what Bald and Johnny did think in that situation. Not diffiult to imagine that Bald is someonewho is pretty experienced at 'reading people' by now, after many years of traveling around the world meeting thousands of different people 'eye to eye'

@hollywood5214 Russia don't care exactly who the person in the WH is, doesn't matter much too them, they know it's the congress and senate that controls the most in the end and they are generally always anti-russian. But I agree, they like to make some political chaos in western countries, when they can. They feel very unfairly threatend with those heavy sanctions after the Crimea deal, don't like that the West mingle into what they consider internal affairs. So why are the West so surprised the russians want some 'revenge'? They just want the west to mind their own business, not stick their nose into russian business. And then there is the big fear game, NATO fearing Russia, and building up their millitary activities closer and closer to Russian borders, and the russians feeling the fear and also start building up more and more millitary, and the weapon race goes on and on and on. Millions of work places in the millitary and weapon industry depends on there being big enemies' out there, big business.

Think of it; if Hillary, or another Democrat, was president, there would be right wing people giving quite equal statement as yours about her/him, going into details, the hair, how one talks and so on:) It's the old story of political fighting, and it's all natural, not misunderstand) A president is the outward face, but remember there are thousands of 'normal people' working in the departments, actually running the country, keeping things together, whoever the President is)

@royalspin For now things should stay as they are in Russia, with Putin's regime there. It is the best 'the best among evils'. Russia is a rich country, large natural resourses. But the most of the richdom is in the hands of a very few, while the majority of the people are more or less poor. OF COURSE Putin, and his regime of very privileged people, are very afraid NATO should somehow support a internal coup in Russia, and lose all their privileges. But what about the PEOPLE..all the millions living in poverty? They got nothing to lose..Naturally, with ww2, and Hitler, a crazy man, nobody would like to live under such a regime, and his followers nowaday is a very small group that are practically harmless, especially to the Russian people. But that is a thing of the past. What if Russia was transformed to a country where wealth was much better distributed, according to modern standards and there was to become a real middle class.

@Dolsie-tv6mh I will say in the winter time, the dark part of the year, they spend a lot of their time inside, yeah, but can take a walk around town when weather not too bad, for exsercise. In the summer possibilities for spending much more time outdoors, hiking, kayak. Keep in mind people living there have chosen the lifestyle of a small town, not so much action, they prefer peace and quiet, the nature

Authoritarian fascist regime, yes, and happens to sit on the largest stockpile of nulear weapons. Change in states like Russia has to happen from within, the world outside can't do much other than be at guard, observe Putin be gone naturally or less naturally, and 'hope for the best'. Person comeing after Putin might as well be worse, no lack of extreme people high up in the russian regime system, but I will guess hard to see a 'genious leader' as Putin that are able to sit at power for decades come around for quite some time. Possible more people come and go in the Presidental chair, more intenal fights, hopefully less time and energy for bothering neighbours. Will be interesting to see if, and when, more levelheaded, more 'modern thinking'people will come in charge in Russia. Russia will possible, sadly, be a pain to many of it's neighbours for years to come, and the cause of more money than wished for going towards defence

@truthseeker4280 Lots of haters, opponents, trying to take you down over 40-50 years. But the man is still around. Explain how a a man at 76, been elected the 45'th President of the US with no political background, living in a palace in Florida with a 25 year younger model wife, traveling around visiting hotels and golf courses he created, in his private jet filled with his staff, and having some million supporters, is concidered a failure in life? Life is up and down, try and fail, get on your feet, move on, do not give up. 5 steps forward, 4 steps back. In summary one are 1 step ahead, = success. So lets tell the kids go out there, do failures, learn and move on, fail in vitamin and steak buisness, do not give up and you might end up with a palace and private jet. So the man is controversial. Why spend so much time focusing at the man? Why not spend the time and energy coming up with what one think is a better candidate for President and so on? Anyway, have a great day. I'm out of here.

Do anything last forever? They had 20000 years roaming the plains. The world have always changed, for various reasons, and animals and people have to constantly change and adapt in order to survive. Nothing last forever. Europeans loved to live in caves for some thousand years, but things changed and they did move out of the caves. The native american kids should not be stuck in the reservations with the older generations that just sit around drinking and feeling sorry for themselves, bad influence. Get out of there, get a education, build car factories or whatever, help yourselves, just GET OUT OF THESE RESERVATIONS, RUN, NOW!

As a European I must say there are some pretty bad taste regarding pimping Scania, and others, to see in Europe. And some better taste naturlly. Generally I think the Americans keeps a smoother style when pimping, use stripes, 2-3 colours, while go to Finland and see whole trcks with crazy paint scheme all over the truck and trailer, with theme 'Princess of Narnia', flyng dragons, wolves and cats and whatever fairy tale. Impressive work put into it, but naaah, not my taste, I better like it simple

The 'far behind' comments in here is mostly from talking heads, both sides of the pond, that where like this in their childhood; 'my father's car got much more horsepower than your father's car!' Modern engines both sides of the pond, are at the same level. Lot's of international co-operation between engine manufacturers, and similar strict emissions rules both in North America and Europe. What the Us manufacturers might be 'behind at' is they might use cheaper parts around the truck, except the engine, to make more profit. 'Company greed' mtraditionally is higher in the US, with stock owners and Wall street wanting to maximize profit. And european manufacturers design all major parts from the ground to specifically fit their trucks, while US manufacturers are more into assembly trucks with parts from many different suppliers. Also the Euro trucks like these Scania's got more of the feeling of driving an ordinary small car, a sedan, regarding the interior, noiselevel and so on, while the US truks often got a more 'rough feel' to them. Anyway, goods are hauled from point A to B in both the US and Europe, at about similar fuel mpg, even if there are some different preferances regarding the design of trucks

Dislike send a message, but the message is uknown to the channel creator. Is it specifically related to the video, or is it people having a bad day and hit dislikes for no reason after by chance getting into 2 seconds of a video on actually was not looking for (there is a LOT of those people) Only relevant dislikes is those followed by a comment explaining 'why'. Alright, if it's about politics, a president or something, the likes and dislikes are obvious, no further info needed. But with all the 'neutral' channels out there, like showing some hobby stuff, nature, it's something else. The creator should know the reason for the dislikes to be any point it, like 'your mic is bad, get a newer one'

I guess there where both good and bad things about the old ideology, like with all ideologies around the world. There was a certain control of things in the old system, there actually was a kind of system to things, like they usually got the basics what was needed, a job, a apartment, food, clothes, as long as they where lojal and did what they where told. After the collapse of sovjet, it was all chaotic, little control, some few people grabbing big portions of the state capital for themselves, leaving many people to be even poorer than they were

@TheShmrsh Interesting and different roots you have, compared to most people in the country. Looking at the big Picture, it seems people in western europe at an earlier stage in history engaged more into what was happening around them, who rulling the countries and not, engage into politics, protesting agains tyrants that wanted to take Power. While the people in eastern europe at the same time more seemed to just move their shoulders, look away and mind their own business, 'I don't care about who runs the country or what is happening to it, I can not do anything about it anyway, I just need to concentrate on getting my Food for tomorrow, before my neighbour takes it' In this way possible more tyrants have been allowed to come to Power, than in western europe. Western Europe naturally have had, and have, many problems, no country is Perfect, but the people have possible in a stronger degree involved in the sociteies and development of their countries.
