  2. One cannot believe in 'nothing' as nothing cannot exist. Only (and all) things exist. One can 'hold no beliefs', but that is not the same as 'believing' something, in that case 'nothing'. After decades of study, I have determined that all beliefs are 'caught'! They are viruses, pathological aberrations of thought, insanity. Pathologically, beliefs MUST defend themselves (think wars, think the greatest atrocities ever committed by man was under the brain rotting influence of belief infections), be fed (there are YouTube websites to feed any hungry belief!) and propagate (be spread). When we see and hear people acting this way, it is symptomatic of a belief infection. Belief infected brains are incapable of rational thought on the subject of their belief so are rarely ever 'argued out of' a belief. They will do anything necessary to survive and propagate! A religion is a congregation of folks infected with the same strain of belief. Mysticism transcends belief. Heaven, transcendental Bliss, all health... is the state of no-beliefs!! No one has ever deliberately harmed another unless he is infected with a 'belief'! Beliefs are weeds that cannot take hold in the soil of critical thought! Unconditional Love aka Truth aka Enlightenment is everywhere! Unconditional Love aka Truth... is known by it's attendant Virtues; Compassion, Empathy, Sympathy, Gratitude, Humility, Charity (Charity is never taking more than your share of anything, ever!), Honesty, Happiness, Faith... But, please, don't believe it. Live it!!

If your child is murdered, it matters. 'Matter' is in the eye/Mind of the beholder. "That purpose is up to you." ~~~ And he believes in 'free-will/choice'! Nuf said.
