Why the BEST Argument for God Fails ~~~ Oh, that's easy, because all has to pass your personal biases and preconceived notions and beliefs and culture and massive juvenile ignorance and inexperience. 'Proof/evidence' is only what you, personally, are willing to accept! Some accept an acorn as proof and evidence of a Creator God! Here's a very little known 'argument for God's existence' that cannot possibly be refuted, sanely, rationally; All the common pro-God arguments presented fail terribly when examined in critical thought, they are filled with logical fallacies. What these arguments will do is to provide food for a growing belief. A belief infection is very un-particular regarding it's dietary habits, whereas philosophical critical thought is very particular and doesn't allow the fallacies and errors that belief infections feast upon! ;) It is much simpler to offer and sustain the argument/theory that EVERYTHING exists! Wanna know how easy that would be? To Exist is to be perceived. To be perceived means to Exist. Nothing exists that is not perceived, nothing is perceived that does not exist! Thus, Existence is ALL-inclusive! Reality is predicated upon Existence! Thus, Reality is ALL-inclusive! Truth, being predicated on Reality must, also, be ALL-inclusive! Now, unless one can sustain a valid argument against what seems to me a Universal definition (Occam at his finest ;), it is no longer reasonable to question whether (fill in the blank) does or doesn't exist. Everything exists is the new heuristic! Thus, logically, God Exists. And Faeries, and unicorns, and dreams, and.... everything else! ;)

In these times of rapidly declining general intellect and people being brainwashed into letting others do their thinking, making them easily manipulable, this seems to be a golden age for the 'pseudo-intellectual' to gain their followings and (fleece them) sell their merch and books! Just see most of YouTube... ;)

  3. The simple truth that "I think therefor YOU are!" proves that Descartes' initial search for 'Universal Truth' had failed. Thus the foundation of his and 'western philosophy' fails, thus... Until the update. The critically updated version of the 'Cogito' is; "Thoughts are perceived/appear, therefore an apparent 'I' to think 'I am'!" Thought = Ego!

  5. "Philosophy is a Waste of Time" ~~~ Say those who cannot do it; MAGA, Republikans, poorly educated folks, ever plummeting intellects... Philosophy is the ability to think for yourself using critical thought/logic, experience and science. It is not about memorizing the half-baked thoughts of the ancients. My waffleBot can do that! It will never be a philosopher. If you cannot think for yourself suchly, you are easily manipulated, brainwashed, propagandized, and an easy target for any salesman! Yeah, a real 'waste of time' for your victims, if you are a predator!
