@Greg 🏳️‍🌈⃠ I can't think of a polite way to say this; you need to go back and re-study. Zimbabwe's human development is higher than it was before 1980. Most Haitian blacks died within 10 years and had to be replaced by waves of new slaves, this is evidenced by the strong and recent Fon influence in the country. I really have no idea how you can spout such nonsense. The very suggestion people frequently worked to death were living even semi-comfortably is shameful.

@pgr3290 Life in sub Saharan Africa is better than it was under colonialism and is comparable to Western Europe during the early modern period in some parts and modern day Eastern Europe in others.

@Greg 🏳️‍🌈⃠ I thought so. Saint Dominigue was a slave plantation not a country. Life was brutal and horrific. That demon possessed animal you're vouching for knew and approved of that. The massacre against the French took place after the French attempted to reinstate slavery by force not when the enslaved were emancipated. Finally, America didn't rebuild Haiti they installed bureaucrats to govern it while imposing Jim Crow on the island. How could you seriously quote anything from that demon?
