  1. No that requires rocket science level of thinking. Something national geographic seems not to be. I guess they thought putting a thumbnail of 1 photo taken was sufficient.

  4. Is it more than possible Sodam an Gomorrah were on the slopes of a Volcano. It would fit with the story. The ground would of been fertile an no one would of known the danger. It happened to Pompeii an Herculaneum. So no reason it couldn't have happened before that.

  5. Hard to think such a beautiful place has such a big volcano under it. Maybe it will never go off but if it did all that beauty would disappear.
