You are forgetting one fundamental fact. Inflation. An greed. The fact is most of the world only earns enough to live a basic lifestyle and has to work to survive. An then there is income disparity. The world works like a giant pyramid scheme where pools most of the wealth to a few people an these people drive up inflation that forces the other people to give them more of their wealth. I think what your really asking here is. Why after all the advantages we have gained do we need to work. The answer is simple. 1. Because there are more people so more services are needed. An 2. Because the world is not fair an never will be.
