felt bad for her 😞
30
so if u were on foot youd basically be dead.
29
nature is mostly cruel....if u want feelgood bullshit go watch a Disney cartoon.
27
bug uses the caterpillar as cover. Sadly for him there was no Plan B.
26
thats what Kruger was designed to be.....give easy access and low cost so anyone can just go on a day trip and see wildlife. A noble idea originally but the downside is that there are so many private vehicles over th last few decades and you end up with this sort of congestion, interfering with nature & also people misbehaving which can lead to attacks, injuries and deaths.
26
DobieMeltfire yep, very impressive. i wonder if maybe the elephant was indulging or just having fun with the little calf. theyre so intelligent i wouldnt be surprised
25
 @vipahman it's definetly not a black mamba
25
they just wanted to pass through quickly. they werent attacking those people.
25
sucks being an impala....every predator is hunting you down!
24
brave little fella, lives to fight another day
24
thats Kruger Gate. People often get out of their vehicles to have a look around and check out the statue. Nothing wrong with it. They should be aware of their surroundings though.
22
such amazing mothers these lionesses
22
if they'd opened that door, hyena would've probably taken off. They're mostly afraid of people unless there's some easy pickings like sleeping kids (a 15 year old was dragged out of his tent in Kruger a few years back but survived). you can see the hyena looking up warily just to make sure the scary 2-legged hairless apes don't come and chase him off his kill.
22
that horn is no laughing matter
21
Spiderfly I don't, but the guy filming it said "she's trying to get to the river" so it's obviously enough of a distance away & also that area looks quite dry.
20
might be his 1st time in the bush and a massive elephant that close can understandably freak some ppl out
20
shows how effective crocodiles can be in scavenging from other predators beyond their natural domain of the water's edge.
20
excellent camera work i have to say. i'd have been shaking like a leaf
17
hippos were enjoying the show for sure 😅
17
few years ago was on a motorboat in the Okavango with 10 others going up to one of the camps. channel was quite narrow and we didn't see an elephant as he was hidden in the tall reeds in th water by the bank. as the boat passed he gave an almighty trumpet. most of the passengers jumped about a foot in the air in terror. I'm sure the elephant had a good laugh to himself. such a troll 😅
16
@nicklion because that would really annoy other tourists, but turning the engine on is a sneakier way to do it. who knows, maybe he had kids in the back and they didnt want to see the lioness get hurt
16
Rosko Lewis and absolutely delicious it is too
15
that lion has fed well recently....nice full tummy hyena pup was probably ill or disabled in some way and left behind. survival of the fittest sadly (or maybe not, depending on how you look at it).
15
@faraz-i3x of course prey getting killed is part of nature, no one disputes that. dont you even have a shred of compassion for for a suffering animal?
15
confused what happened in 1st clip. was that an unrelated male coming in to take over the pride? if so, did he kill the cubs?
15
@7LAMPSofFIRE looks like a young male, look at his bumfluff mane at the end 😅
15
great comment, love it
15
poor bugger that looked a painful wound
15
that lioness biting the tail whilst holding on to the back leg....incredible power
14
that elephant had the chance to gore the baby but he didnt, he just wanted them out of there
14
Male lion coalitions are the best. Kings of their domain.
14
@mako3951 i agree. I mean i've been on plenty of safaris having lived in southern Africa. If you're a foreign tourist staying in a fancy game lodge in South Africa or Botswana or Zambia and the ways of nature upset you, then just dont go on the game drives!! Stay in the lodge instead, read your book, swim in the pool, etc and dont stress yourself.
13
@iRon Tyson yep pythons are common throughout South Africa. Common but rarely seen.
13
The pond used to be a lot bigger. The dry season in southern Africa is around the same time as summer in the northern hemisphere so you would see a lot of these diminishing ponds/lakes at this time.
13
chameleon looks too big for that boomslang to eat 😢
13
@iNFaunTae i never starve, but im glad the ugly hyena did
12
the piglets are so cute though
12
poor gi-gi 🥺....wish they could dart it and try sew it shut, but i remember reading that unless a wild animal's wounds are inflicted by human activity, they wont intervene.
12
@henryt9281 lol don't be stupid...the leopard has to eat
12
what I cant figure out is why did it die almost instantly when the leopard picked it up? Did the leopard crush its skull as it picked it up or was it maybe total shock/heart failure?
11
lol, then male lion comes along and claims it off the females.
11
yeah the morons ON the boat distracted him.
11
perfect place to take a break away from the predators
11
the cutest thing ever 😂
11
it's just an old internet meme
10
nope it's 100% dead
10
i bet most who clicked on this were expecting a happy ending muhahaha
9
amazing that such a young ele isnt with the herd....great video, Calvet.
9
looks like they're going for the nuts, not the tail.....back kick ftw though.
9
true....you know, it surprises me that Wild Dogs aren't a major threat to humans in the way that the big cat species are deemed a threat. They're so damn intelligent the way they hunt prey. In this scene, a group of Wild Dogs peels off from the main pack to chase off buffalo that are challenging the kill. Amazing creatures really.
