As the private workforce, will not get this holiday off. Nor any of the other numerous ones created recently. (Last few decades). Yet keep losing our traditional ones, as well. In order to pay for government days off. I half expect them to change the calendar. Because they are running out of days and months for national holidays and special recognition months. For every special interest group going. Meanwhile erasing past history because of cancel culture. Next national holiday should be when this administration leaves office. Enough is enough.

@KJ-od8wq some government jobs are a necessary evil. An expense. Not an asset. And should be treated as such. They are not sustainable on their own. Yet has grown 180% in the last 5 months. Mostly to push the socialist agenda and prop up the failing unemployment stats. And the schools I attended actually taught things like, reading, writing, math,civics, economics, history, science. And garbage like CRT was used in philosophy 101. As an example of a false argument. Because it's based on accepting a false pretense to begin with.

@KJ-od8wq not a buzz word so much as an example. Clearly your on the same plain. Pretty straight forward. But somehow you don't understand. Or disagree. Either way you've said nothing to bolster your disagreement. So you're saying the government is self sufficient, and isn't a liability and a expense .? Because you've made no point at all. Other than call some other person a racist. Which is the usual response when one has no comeback. Bigger is not always better when it Comes to government. It has yet to prove itself in operating anything with any sort of efficiency. Or if it starts to. Be sure somebody will put an end to it. Again parts of it are necessary. A lot of it is not. If any private business or non profit ran the way the government does. They would be bankrupt or in jail. Or both.
