  1. Their definitions of an "assault weapon" can range from a super soaker on up. The people who so desperately want to ban or regulate . Have no clue what their trying to regulate. And do so out of ignorance and fear. They constantly call semi-automatic , automatic or full automatic. Consider a lot or hunting rifles "assault weapons " Registration is required on all new purchases now. They could easily make a "no-fly" list, for lack of better term. Of those , who by law, cannot legally cannot purchase or own a firearm. The check would be instant. And do away with a lot of useless , ineffective garbage already created. Almost every semi-automatic hunting rifle out there was called an assault rifle at one time or another. More legislation only infringes on the rights of law abiding citizens. It puts unnecessary, burdens and expenses on them. To support laws that have no affect on those who are going to ignore them regardless. Hypocracy is astounding. People screaming defund police, social justice. Speaker calling police and guard storm troopers. Now they ask for them to protect the capitol and enter our homes to confiscate our property. That is our right under the constitution. And want us to pay for it. This exactly why we say no to crack!
