When over half the population has questions and confidence in the voting systems throughout the country. It's a problem. For the supreme court to back away from this, is deplorable. Why do they exist? Thought it was to interpret laws, and complete the, checks and balances part of our system. Valid questions were asked. Refusals to answer only deepen the mistrust the American public has in its election process. Hats off to Justice Thomas, for having the backbone , not only to dissent, but explain the obvious.
