  1. Once again the leftwing nuts have failed to read or comprehend the decision and it's meaning. It really doesn't change things much. As the Judge said this is a very narrow and explicit ruling. You still have to get a concealed weapons permit where required. All this says is they cannot come up with a bunch of arbitrary questions you must answer correctly in order for you to "justify " your reason to be able to get one. That's all. You still have to go through a secondary background check and all the other steps. All's this says, is that they cannot deny you the permit because they don't think you have a good enough reason which is B.S.. Because other existing laws about concealment or open carry should be reason enough. I'll explain. If your allowed to open carry and put on a jacket that covers a portion of the weapon. Because it's cold outside,, now it's concealed and without a permit your in violation. If you're in a dangerous area and have a firearm stashed in your vehicle and no permit. You are in violation. If your transporting a weapon across a parking lot to your home or wherever and it's not clearly visible, you're in violation. If anything gun control advocates should be happy about this. This if anything encourages law abiding citizens to apply for conceal permits. Again that means secondary background checks and additional registration. It's another way to tell the good guys from the bad. This relentless attack on law abiding citizens yet little to no effort to take them away or punish criminals is absurd and totally backwards. That's the lack of common sense. Again ATF and States are literally sitting on millions of firearm applications and affidavits they've never even looked at. With today's technology and federal I.D system this should be a 5 minute deal. Like a no fly list. This was even advocated for by the NRA quite some time ago but rejected by government. They have the information, technology and 99.9% of laws in place yet fail to implement what would seem to be the most basic step with the greatest effect to keep weapons out of the hands of criminals. But that was never their goal was it?
