This is horrific.
Some of the greatest literature, being edited out. Because we've uneducated our youth .
Where they can no longer even read a children's book and understand a plot, storyline, or moral of the story.
But get focused on a word or sentence.
Can't see the forest, because of the trees.
It's a sad testimonial, on what our educational system has become.
Where, reading, math, science, civics, history all take a back seat to social justice and political correctness.
We are not giving our kids the basic tools to make informed decisions.
The knowledge to know how to gather information for questions they have or will have in the future.
To be able to read a contract. And to know that if they don't understand. All or parts. Find out before you sign.
Educated people make great workers. They usually have goals.
And know McDonald's may not be a career goal. ( unless you're a manager or owner).
But a stepping stone to get real life experience in one of thousands of opportunities out there.
Or a part time gig for extra cash.
You look at California's educational system.
Billions thrown at it. And wants more.
But continues come in at the bottom 25% nationally overall.
Under educated, poor, people are easier to manipulate.
That's what the left. Wants.
Businesses want educated people.
Skilled people.
To the point, they are saying to public education. You're not doing your job. We will fund programs that give students basic skills that will get their foot through the door.
And an opportunity to go farther.
Education system is trying to run like big business.
But with no idea how big business runs. Or they do and are fleecing it.
Either way if held to any standard. They'd be out of work or in jail.
Basic education, employment and the opportunity to grow are the backbone of this country.
But apparently we have to repeat the dark ages on up because history not taught or too busy on social media to pay attention in class.
Either way it's sad.
