Any logical person ,engineer, even level headed environmentalist can tell you. Multiple power sources with a properly set up grid are required to run an efficient ,viable ,reliable system.
Solar and wind are great, but must be set up properly to maximize distribution during peak production times and have a fast reacting counter part, to compensate for their inherent ups and downs of production. Natural gas is the cleanest choice and also can become cleaner as technology improves.
Eliminating natural gas as a fuel source for cooking and heat is irresponsible. And ultimately is worse for the environment.
Every time you have to convert energy from one form to another.
You lose efficiency.
There are engineering groups that have looked at this in detail.
Almost all agree. All power sources should be on the table. To work in conjunction with each other to produce the cleanest most reliable power available with the flexibility to upgrade as technology improves.
To force unrealistic goals by eliminating options only increases global emissions. Creates an unreliable system (Texas, California are 2 examples).
It's what you get when politicians try to play engineer.
And agendas, narratives replace facts.
This man has given simple facts that even the uneducated should be able to comprehend.
He's also very politely exposed some of the falsehoods the "green movement " would have you believe.
This administration and others are destroying our energy production capabilities. With no viable plan to replace what they've destroyed.
And are blind to the fact we are headed for catastrophic failure as major power producers go off line permanently.
And it's not like you can throw up a nuclear power plant or it's equivalent overnight.
Would much rather see a small part of the infrastructure budget go towards a "master plan "
For the U.S. power grid taking in consideration future growth.
A plan that state's and utilities could follow to build an updated, integrated system, designed by engineers, not by politicians.
This would be, in my opinion, a wiser long term investment in our infrastructure . As opposed to 80+thousand new IRS agents. Or government run, babysitting facilities.

@nancysmiedy6514 to the contrary.
This question was brought up immediately following the 6th.
And never answered.
It's a legitimate question. That needs an answer.
Your dismissal of it, only goes to show your gullibility of the left.
If you watched initial hearings with capitol police and Sgt at Arms.
You would be asking the same question.
I did watch them live. And have been asking ever since.
Still no answers. ( except a lot of "I don't recalls" by Sgt at Arms)
Because it would reflect poorly at best on Pelosi.
And if you believe the media, that Pelosi was far removed, well you might want to do a little fact checking. Because she's not.
Sounds like your a CNN, MSNBC fan.
Try skipping MSM. And go back and look at entire hearings. Instead of highly edited versions, by bias media. Fox included.
The fact is, security was intentionally left grossly understaffed that day.
Additional security was requested multiple times by capitol police days before. But denied.
Which was far from normal procedure.
Only 3 bodies that could make that call. Pelosi or one of her appointees including Sgt at Arms.
It's as simple as that.
She is the top dog for capitol security and it's surrounding grounds . And is ultimately responsible in some fashion of how her appointees, that answer directly to her, act.
Who do you think ordered the barricades and fencing afterwards?
And signed off on it?
MSM can't be trusted for actual news.
Whether it be this or much else.
Like the "oppressive voting laws" in Texas or Georgia.
If you actually read the laws proposed and or passed.
You would realize. Biden and Harris as well as others are telling bold faced lies.
Like the no food or water falsehood.
That keeps getting repeated and aired.
If they bothered to read it. It was an addendum to the already existing electioneering laws that exist in almost every state.
Which prevents candidates, or parties, from campaigning ,handing out gifts within so many feet of the polling station.
Other than that they could set up bbqs at the front door.
It does not stop poll workers, or a friend from getting someone in line, water or snack.
Skip the media, read the laws. Then decide. As both governors suggested.
Both states are far less restrictive and offer much greater opportunities to vote than Biden's home state of Delaware or over a dozen more blue states.
Bottom line was this committeewas originally formed to find what went wrong and how to prevent it from happening again.
But default has to include capitol security which Pelosi heads.
That simple.
Had support been granted as requested multiple times. And was standard previous procedure.
The breach almost certainly never would have taken place.
I do not condone those who breached. And would not want to be in their shoes. For every government agency dealing with law enforcement and national security plus DOJ are going after them and their affiliations.
So I don't know what more this committee will find out ,they wont.
Except turning it into another hunt for the "Orange Man ".
Which frankly most people are getting sick of Pelosi' s obsession with beating a dead horse. That's costing taxpayers 100's of millions of dollars.
