  1. When you excuse shoplifting up to 950 dollars. What do you think those people do with the merchandise? Have a closet full of ear swabs? No, they're selling it to the organized theft he's talking about. Think about it. Why risk getting busted for 1200 dollars worth of goods when all you have to do is make 2 trips and get 1899 dollars worth with no repercussions? Then they can sell it for their next fix or car payment. Take your pick. This mentality by the left is the same approach they take on education. The numbers look bad so lower the bar or remove it all together . Although numbers may appear better. Doesn't make anyone better educated, in fact the opposite. Same with crime. , just because you don't prosecute it. And you empty your prisons of convicted criminals. Your arrests and incarceration numbers may appear to go down for a while. But actual crime has gone up. The left can try and relabel, redefine, ignore all they want. It is what it is. It's theft and its wrong. It has been wrong since before the dawn of civilizations. To excuse it, or worse yet sanctify it, shows a degradation in society as a whole. Don't see how that's progressive at all.
