  1. Audits are a good thing. As others have stated all departments should be going through these on a regular basis. And DOJ should encourage them. Not harass or impede them. Like election audits. They are there to find errors, find flaws so they can be fixed. Confirm when things are done correctly. They are standard operating procedure. And are a useful tool in managing any process. From home personal finances to DOD. California should have used an audit. Before they handed out 31 billion dollars in unemployment fraud. Yet their budget increased and got huge payday from Creepy Joe. While they flatten military budget. 31 billion would have bought a lot equipment or training to keep our men and women who serve safer. As opposed handing it out to incarcerated people and the like. Or building shoebox apartments at a cost of almost a million dollars a unit. For "low income housing ". Think that one could use an audit as well. But that doesn't fit the narrative I guess. Because poverty is a multi hundred billion dollar annual industry for democrats. In which only pennies on the dollar ever make it to its intended target.
